I don't know, Thiem has talked about a nagging foot injury. And I would be surprised if Novak skips Madrid, of all of them. but Belgrade seems to be back, during the week of Barcelona.Reason that Thiem is not playing MC he feels he is not ready to compete,in his statement he did not say he was injured?
In regards to Novak there are rumors at present he won't play Madrid.Novak is still on the entry list for Madrid.....he will play Rome as he is the defending champion.
Theim did not talk of a injury when he withdrew.....that nagging foot injury has been going on for sometime btw.Novak will play Belgrade.Theim is also on the entry list for Belgrade.I don't know, Thiem has talked about a nagging foot injury. Musetti will hopefully have a good clay season. Impressive stuff here.

No worries and welcome to TF!yes you are right.
I read a comment from Dominiks father for austrian press, he said its not a physicial problem. He has motivational issues and needs rest.
I am really wondering about that.
Yeah for Djokovic it just seems to be rumors, according to serbian press he will play in Madrid.
I hope he plays at least Belgrade, looking forward to a Djokovic-Thiem F.I don't know, Thiem has talked about a nagging foot injury. And I would be surprised if Novak skips Madrid, of all of them. but Belgrade seems to be back, during the week of Barcelona.
No,though if you go onto their website you might find some information regarding the speed and bounce. All I know that there is clay and hard courts and Novak does train there from time to time.I hope he plays at least Belgrade, looking forward to a Djokovic-Thiem F.
does anyone know something about the Belgrade-clay? In terms of speed and bounce?
I just posted that news above?French Open is being delayed a week
Exclusive: French Open to be delayed by a week due to President Macron's latest Covid crackdown
Delay has persuaded officials to approve idea of some fans inside Roland Garros. Had it gone ahead on May 23, grounds would have been emptywww.telegraph.co.uk
No full cancellation looks pending, fingers crossed. So it appears it is being scheduled a week later to allow spectators at Roland Garos at it would coincide with the end of the National lockdown. Of course this means that it will be back to just a 2 week break between the end of the French Open and Wimbledon.

Fiero, my mind must be is going. When was it ever just one week between Roland Garos and Wimbledon? Even back in the Arthur Ashe days when I first started following mens tennis it was two weeks....Used to just be a week when grass was the anti-thesis of Paris clay! We had upsets of the top 4 players all the time back in the day! It almost never happens much; even with Rafa's near ineptitude (in comparison) off clay!

Quite frankly I don't know if players would want to start their match at 9pm at night? lights are on and it is still day light saving, all the carry on about lights at RG over the years, they now have a chance to use them. The French Open plans 10 night sessions this year on Chatrier. It will consist of one singles match starting at 9.00pm.Contrary to reports, men's and women's matches will both be played in this slot. Will be a decision made daily.
