Roger snatches defeat from the jaws of victory in that second set.

It is amazing to me how Roger plays better 70% of the time, but the 30% that Rafa plays better are usually the crucial points. Rafa just has the mental and tactical edge over Roger, at least on clay.

That said, from what I've seen of this match I don't think Rafa will ever beat Roger off clay again. So much of his edge here is the clay advantage.

I wonder if @Murat Baslamisli & I are still the only members who like both of these guys? We differ, in that he’s mainly a Roger fan, and I’m mainly a Rafa fan, but we appreciate and like both.

It makes it interesting when they play, because I’m happy for the winner, and mainly want to see a great match. But whoever wins better win the tournament.

Roger is my guy but I always liked Rafa.
