Then you do not read consistently my new career high rankings. Harris showed up on my updates several times in the bottom of the top 100.
Sorry...I guess a name you never heard on a list doesn't make so much of an impression, but when you have it in a bracket and have to decide who'll win a match, you pay attention. :)

Harris served better that game. Up 40 love on at least 2 first serves. Then missed two first serves and lost the point each time. And I didn't catch the last serve but won the game. I think it was another first serve. Fed will definitely want an insurance break, knowing this guy can break him. But he'll also know he likely gave the guy some help. Match definitely looks to be in his hands now. This guy not returning well at all.

Now after THAT point, to start Harris serve at 2-4, this guy has got to be wondering where he can go. Fed was everywhere. Comes down to the serve.

I don't think it is insane and laughable, but I really think it would indeed affect matches a lot of matches. Just don't ask me exactly what "a lot" means...
Aside from the terrible optics when they do it in the women's game, and any grandstanding about the 'lone wolf' heroics from some, what I object to, in practical terms, is that it stops the game, or sure feels like it does. When all they're trying to do is speed things up.

Looks like a forgotten Rublev decided to find his A game against Garin and fuck up some more draw picks :nono: Still an open match, now beginning of 4th set.

So Fed likely to out the third. And the 4th will probably be as straightforward. This guy doesn't have the answers. Just got the benefit of a slow start from Fed.

Fritz and Berdych up and running.

Ol Tsonga through against Tomic. Easily in straights. Surprising no one. Such a disappointing career out of Tomic. Probably not as good as people thought. But still much much much better than he's been. All mental.

That's one I was interested in the moment I saw it in the draw as well. He's had all the injury issues. Has struggled to find the momentum he had before the injuries. But still has game and Garin a clay courter mostly. Garin had a break but Rublev just got it back. They're definitely equally matched.

So Fed comes through easily. Lost just 5 games after the first set. Harris injured for the 4th set. Good start for Fed.

MEANWHILE! Sugita has an early break on Nadal. I knew I should have put a bet on him just in case! I mean. He's not gonna win. But, if he gets a set maybe he can take this thing 5 and we'll have a fun start for Nadal today. I mean. If he takes it 5, he'll have proved he can win it. But lets just see how the first set goes first. Nadal down love-30 on his serve again though.

And Rublev finishes off Garin.

Also. Nadal was not down love-30 in his first service game. I did not mean to imply that. Just that he's in trouble on serve again. Sugita at 40-30 now. Break point.

Sugita will not win a set, don't bother betting :-)2

I didn't. I never have. I've just been thinking about getting into it. Haven't brought myself to do it. Really wish I had because I totally picked Vesely over Zverev. I would have taken a chance on Fabbiano over Tsitsipas and would have gotten lucky. And even though the line wasn't totally worth it, I would have bet against Thiem as well.

Really wish I had been signed up and ready to go yesterday for in match betting and I could have probably had a bigger line on going against Zverev after he won the first set. Because I still fully believed in Vesely. I could have made a couple hundred bucks yesterday and I'm fairly annoyed with myself.

But as for Nadal I just started to wonder yesterday if Sugita might actually have a set in him. But Nadal now with break points. Sugita has saved 2. 1 left for Nadal. Just a slow start for Nadal.

So Rublev finally won a match against Garin. Really a good win for him.
Krajinovic stunned by that WC german Koepfer.

Nads won't struggle with this pancake. Just hopefully make Nads move those supposedly always wobbly knees...

Don't be, if you actually placed those bets upsets would never happen.
