The more hyped Next Gen members are looking more pathetic by the tourney. See if FAA can do anything, and then there are other smaller Russian fish like KK and Medvedev. I don't see them becoming big wigs ever but who knows. The Big 3 may still be around at age 65

Damn, I had Britney Tsitsipas losing on the SECOND round, not the first... he is even worst than I thought!

But if it's second hand, that's irrelevant to Wimbledon. They are not getting any of that money. They sold the debentures and the holders of those can re-sell them at whatever price they want.
I'm not sure why you think it's not relevant. The second hand market reflects the actual market. Wimbledon are clearly not trying to optimise revenues. Hence my comment that I was surprised that they even priced the tickets differently in the first place. The only way to assess the viability of any business is by understanding what the market can bear. And that's precisely the point that both @mrzz and I are making. Don't kid yourself as to the popularity of the WTA product vs the ATP. Although as I said I don't understand why it's the case right now. With the right people in place I actually think the WTA could give the ATP a good run for its money. As I mentioned with UFC, it's often the case that the main card involves a female fight, and hardcore UFC fans, like me have no problem with that at all

Tough, disappointing loss for Tsitsipas. Growing pains. Not there on the grass yet. Clearly still just a 20 year old. But he'll still have plenty more wins.

Big day for Fabbiano. Great grass season for him. But it's hard to see him dealing with Karlovic. Opens up an opportunity for Karlovic to get a run to the 3rd or 4th round. Maybe more. Doubtful on that though. Highly doubtful. That serve is always dangerous. But at 40 he's even more beatable than he's always been.
Really wish I'd have made these two upsets bets. I was so close to doing too. Could have made some cheddar! It's cool though. Just glad to see Zverev out.

Hurkacz with the win. Gets Mayer then Djokovic. Tough draw.

I expected Tsitsipas to win that match though. He could end up like Zverev if he continues with these strange losses.

I am only disappointed by Stefanos. I can't stand Sasha so that result made me actually happy.

VERY disappointing to see Dimitrov give away this match to Moutet. Looked to be cruising and Moutet just kept coming and won the tiebreak and Dimitrov just has not been the same.

Edmund was cruising and suddenly failed to serve it out.

You don't need to worry too much about those two dissapoiting results.
Many Next. Gen. Players did very well getting by while they were not favorites: Popyrin, Hurkacz, Humbert, Moutet. Lots of bright spots today.

I have never seen him, all I know he is a tall young man. Does he have a good serve?

Those guys aren't flies on an elephant's ass yet.

I don't mind Zverev but clearly he has a huge mental block at majors. I want Next Gen to step up and help usher out Nadal in particular. That gin and juice scum has ruined this sport enough. And if they continue to be worthless then Djoker becomes a threat to ruin Roger's career as well. Even if the younglings end up ushering out Fed too at least there is new blood.
