I hate to bandwagon, or anti-bandwagon, but that was really woeful from Zverev, just when he was challenged to step up.A painful day for Sascha comes to an end.
He acts like he believes that he's tennis's next big thing, but when rubber meets the road, he falls apart. Taking nothing away from Milos, who was very good today, but Zverev is falling way short of expectations.Congrats to Milos he has played solid tennis from the start of this tournament.Great win today.
Back to the drawing board for Sasha.....dismal performance in all area's of his game.
Anyone have opinions on Pouille/Coric, Nishikori/PCB or Djokovic/Medvedev?
Your man played really well today. I have to be happy he's through, and still in to challenge Djokovic. Zverev clearly wouldn't have been up to the task, anyway.I know Sasha plays a lot better than what he did today, but he really lacks in certain areas.
Net game, quite poor and he has trouble handling slices. Milos exploited well that weakness.
ALEX , WHAT HAPPENED ???
Kei wins the third and up a break in the fourth.Pouille takes out Coric and Nish is in a world of trouble against PCB.
