You forget that, nadal was not even 100% fresh going into wimbledon after the long clay court season then you add 5 setter with del potro, then make it a indoor event of course nadal loses.:yesyes::rolleyes:

Not going to comment on the indoor aspect of your analysis as that's a separate topic on it's own, but cmon dull always plays a full clay season, that has never stopped him to succeed in Wimbledon. Infact he had all the ingredients to win this Wimbledon, slow high bouncy grass, no threats in the first week when he's most vulnerable(this is the biggest one), a delmugtro he has owned of late.

It's dull's fault for not winning the 3rd set in both the matches. He screwed up, gotta accept it. Look Nadal is just not good enough off clay, whenever he's succeeded he's needed a total joke draw and it's just you tards who overrate him.

I dont know how as well that might have been nadal last chance to win wimbledon.

That pleb doesn't deserve any more Wimbledon's. He didn't deserve two to begin with. On a real grass surface you need more than defense and otherworldly topspin to win and at those tournaments (2008 and 2010) that's all it took for him to win. Like I said I was more impressed with his grass chops and variety this year. I'm still glad he left with nothing like his good friend Roger. At least Nads didn't lose to a creampuff...

It's pretty rich to give exhaustion as an excuse for Nadull's failure to seize a golden opportunity specially now that Wimbledon has been pushed back by 2 weeks. Sorry dulltards, that excuse doesn't fly.

not going to into the the two Wimbledon's nadal already has but you are right about the third one for now, nadal still has three or four more chances to win it so we will see.

I don't think you put yourself in the firing line by getting too arrogant when Nadal wins but by ribbing Federer fans when Federer loses & rubbing it in. They don't like it & get angry & that's understandable. You're entitled to have & air an opinion like everyone else but rubbing Federer fans noses in it when he lost isn't the nicest or wisest thing to do, in my opinion.

I'm trying to help you out here by explaining how people might take things so you can retain that information for future reference & use it when you need to. I give you credit for not dragging things on & for constraining yourself a bit. We can all go a bit too far. I've done it myself & regretted it later. When I go too far I normally get ignored or reasoned with at the time or later sometimes by more than 1 person all at once so you're not alone. You're improving a great deal. I make the mistake of being too humble or going O.T.T. sometimes. I guess I should just be myself. I miss my writer friends who joined at the same time as me & I used to talk to when we weren't writing. When we had disputes we had rhyme offs which we both had fun with & made friends again afterwards. Those rhyme offs definitely allowed us to bounce ideas off each other & made us even more creative & we challenged each other to rhyme offs for fun sometimes. It's lovely to be able to create things with other people. I love creative people. I wonder if any of the old writers & readers who posted here will ever return. Boy! I miss them. If I'm lucky, we might attract new writers & readers here.

Whoever wins USO this year, assuming it's one of the big 3, will have had the best year. Let's pray it isn't Nadal. He has stained enough events off his beloved dirt.

Of course but now federer has upper hand at the us open having messed up last year.

Doubt that very much. He blew his best chance at winning a slam this year and with Djokovic back playing decent, the competition will be tougher at the USO this year.

I don't know why you think you need divine intervention to keep Nadal out of the winner's circle, but it's insulting and childish that you think he has "stained" tennis by winning as much as he has. If it were such an affront to tennis, it would be one on clay as well, would it not? At some point, you're going to grow up and realize that Nadal is a great tennis player.

A little divine intervention never hurt but all we need is Roger getting his head out of his ass. He was garbage at the challenger-style event USO last year and Wimbledon this year, blowing easy opportunities for much needed glory and breathing room.

Everyone knows your position, but you conveniently ignore the rest. If Nadal were such a blight on tennis, how come not on clay? If he's a genius on the clay, it can translate to other surfaces. And it has. You can hate it, and you can crab about the surfaces, ad nauseum, as you do, but he is a supremely talented tennis player, whether you can admit it or not.

Also, don't forget the pathetic loss to Goffin whom he owned at WTF last year. So, he has messed up three major opportunities in the last one year.

And what has Goffin done since? He's rather fallen off of a cliff. He's still at #11, but that's mostly because the rankings are a mess.
