Are you worried about anybody?
Federer. If he keeps his shit together I'm confident he'll win. I don't know if he'll be able to do it. I hope so. It's too soon for Novak to stop Roger imho. And I feel confident that Roger has Rafa's number now. I could be proved wrong...

These Wimby organizers lost my respect for the 2008 debacle. The ump came on “Strokes of Genius” to say it was “painfully dark” but he didn’t have the authority to suspend the match. I hope whoever was responsible for that and slowing down the grass spends time in Hades watching endless baseline rallies.

Honestly...I'm not still bitter about that match. Roger deserved to lose because of the way he played those first 2 sets. The stupid match shouldn't have even gone 5 sets, so that's on him.

My point. Not exactly ‘market forces’ but pure nimbyism.
Perhaps I wasn't clear. My reference to market forces was about the way they are unfairly scheduling Roger exclusively on CC. Nothing else

Market forces made Fed go to a thrift shop in the south of France and pick up Novak’s old tennis gear.

I'm a hardcore Fed Fan and I'm not edgy. It will be what it will be. For Gods's sake - the man is about to turn 37 and so-called experts started saying he should retire when he was 28 or 29. The way I see it - he and his alleged $300 MILLION Uniqlo deal have had the last laugh regardless of whether he wins this Wimbledon or not. Having said that - sure, I want #21 because it keeps him 4 ahead of Nadal...and if somebody just gave you $300MIL - you need to show them it's money well spent. How are you going to build a new RF brand" when all of your big career wins came while wearing another company's clothes? There go career retrospective commercials and ads, right? Roger's definitely got pressure on him to win this Wimbledon - but since none of the money is going into MY bank account - I ain't sweatin' it they way I ususally would. Does that make me a bad Fed Fan?
As Fed fans, we do not worry much about how much money he makes, but rather how many slams he wins and how well he plays tennis. I can repeat what has been said a million times-that the way Federer plays tennis is something that we have never seen before, but I will add that we will never see anyone again that plays tennis like him. His tennis talent deserves more slams, which is why some people think that 20 slams is a huge underachievement.

Lol! You know what I meant. It's been a long day and it's hot
Just made me laugh because so many non-Brits, esp. Yanks, used to get in trouble for that, most particularly from Iona, IIRC. ;-):

I'm with you on this. He was beaten like a bitch at RG and had to fight the mental baggage for that match. He smoked everyone else on the route to the final. That's entirely on him. It's sport and he laid an egg in the first two sets, completely his own issue. Still it was really really dark in that last set. Taking up that market forces argument, there was no way they were going to stop the match when it was so close to the end sadly.

I think Nadal has also played all his matches on CC.

True. Let's face it guys, Roger and Rafa are monster draws. I know if I was paying £500+ for debenture seats to watch play on CC and they told me that Rafa or Roger was on No1 I would have a fit

Berg. This doesn't pass mustard today. They're playing a doubs match right now on CC. Instead of moving Djoke there or finish Delpo, they chose to put a doubs match there, senseless.

I believe when they moved the doubles to CC, they were not expecting JMDP to stink up and lose a set. So, I would say that it is not that they are giving preference for doubles (even if it involves a British player).
