Here we go again. Honestly, is there anything new to say in the Fedal Wars?

I have material evidence supporting that Nadal practiced Voodoo with Federer. His Voodoo doll was stolen late in 2015 when his luggage got stranded while going to Tokyo open, and since then he cannot beat Federer anymore.

And, off course, Nadal's ears are too big.

Fiero .. From 08-2015 Rafa was the on driving the bus on non clay courts vs Roger..Acourse .. Recent history will show that Roger is clearly a better player on the faster surfaces but previously Rafa would’ve welcomed a challenge from Roger on any surface. Darth makes Roger appear as some demiGod..he aint .. he can be defeated. Even by Rafa

Well it would help if Rafa could take a set! It's been a wipe out the last few matches! It was bad enough losing AO when up 2-1 sets to a reputed "pigeon," but since then it's been quite one-sided and I don't know why! I don't think Roger's playing much differently; maybe more to do with Nole being absent! Heaven knows he's had his number the last several years on any surface except the Cinci event! Nole's never won it, losing the final maybe 5 or 6 times to the likes of Roger and Andy! It's the only Masters not on his resume! No one's done him the favor of eliminating the other Big 3 like Soderling did for Roger at FO back in '09!   :ptennis:

Off clay Roger should've dominated Nadal much more than he has. They've played 23 off clay, a poor record would be 15-8 given the difference in abilities. Decent record of 17-6 and you'd have an equal H2H right now. 13-10 is just pathetic. Rafa to his credit was living in his head for a long time. You won't convince me that Rafa should have ever beaten Roger at events like Wimbledon, Dubai, YEC, and Cincy. Yet Roger has found a way to lose to him at all those events. Those should be 90% probability for Fed to win.

Even still Roger holds the edge everywhere except clay. And he was holding the edge until his disastrous 2013, Rafa munched on his corpse 4 times that year. I wish Roger had that luxury in 2015.
Novak has a winning record against both, yet has managed to put himself (temporarily) outside of the GOAT conversation.

Last year was a crucial year to reel in fedal, yet he managed to concede 2 slams to each. I’m a bit more pessimistic now but he should start winning slams again and keep fedal from doing just that.

You guys found out that your favorite player ages too. Something a lot of Djoker fans seemed unaware of until last year. We will see how he comes back, his motivation should be high...but it should've still been high last year as well. Nole did well to duck Roger last year, could've gotten some nice easy W's like Nole racked up vs Roger in his mid 30's.

Nadal conceded two sets? Did they use the shot clock? I’m personally quite excited to see that in practice on Nadal. They should have done that a decade ago.

I must confess I did not expect it to happen last year already. Novak is lean and takes good care of his body with all the stretching and the physio.

Denis.. as you can tell Darth wanted the “big payback” for Roger vs Nole.. A wise man once stated.. Payback is a M#Fr

"Found a way" ..No..you are a gambler at heart and you know damn well there are no Absolutes in sports. NONE...Roger couldnt stop what was coming..Nadal..Thats why to loosing to Novak in 2012 ..last year loss at AO was the 2nd worst GS title for Rafa. Heck, his recent mastery over Roger in grand slams encounters was about as close as absolute could be .

May need you to be the voice of reasoning with Miss Carol being absentee and i am gonna go walkabout hopefully for a few weeks..Darth, Front and the rest of those rabid Fed fans will try to have their way with Miss Moxie..although she isnt anyone's patsy and can handle those posters with ease.

Fiero tell it like it is..hey Rafa lost ..there isnt anything that can change it now..what do you want me to do, jump on an anti Fed soapbox like Darth does about Wimbledon 08 or USO 09 Fed getting spanked by JMDP..no i am not built that way my friend
Cheers

Another way of stating the bolded above is that Rafa beat Roger in those events. I know you feel the need to keep parsing out the H2H, and disclaiming why Roger "shouldn't" have lost so many times, particularly off-clay. It would make some sense if it were only a 1-2 losses, but it's a bit undignified to keep claiming otherwise victories with so much evidence to the contrary. Likewise, I don't think you can only say it was because Rafa was in Roger's head. Let's face it: he was well in his game. And getting back in there is far from impossible.
