Too bad about Haas. I was hoping to see him win at least a couple matches.

Likewise very disappointed. Hoped to see at least one good slam result in his final year on tour. Was hoping for 3rd round at least.

After to see the Rafa's results from 2011 I don't see any reason that Roger has some pressure and most being a much greater grass player. But talking about the previous years and like I said previously since 2008 the Trophy of Wimbledon has been split between the top four players which means that none one of them dominates on grass but clearly it depends how well or bad is playing each one

Pressure comes from expectations, and right now Roger is considered the favorite and thus has the weight of expectations on him. Rafa has been mediocre at Wimbledon for 5+ years, so has far less expectations. In fact, this almost gives more weight to Rafa's chances, because he's almost like a dangerous floater.

Anyhow, my view is that if they reach the final, Roger should win it because he is a better grass player, but I am not convinced--like some of his fans--that he's totally beaten the "Rafa problem," and see a Fedal final as a bit of a toss-up.

Carol, it isn't brain surgery. Roger fans want Rafa to go out early, because once he gets to the second week all of a sudden he goes from merely a pretty good but quite vulnerable grass player to his usual great self. And while I favor Roger in a Fedal final as he's a much greater grass player, there's a match history and pressure on Roger that he could struggle with.

That might be the Fed fan perspective. I am neither a fed fan, nor worried about Nadal.

I simply really enjoy the likes of Darcis taking out Nadal all the while seeing the clay game unravel on grass. I particularly enjoyed the Rosol match and would like to see more of those matches.

Of course some Novak's fans are included in that package. Did you cry too much when Querrey took Novak out in Wimbledon, Istomin in the AO and Thiem in RG? it seems there is a lot of competition now, isn't?

Djoko takes the first set. Will Roger have enough time to play his match under proper amount of light?

Djoker should take Klizan out in straights. They should have enough time. I think they can just close the roof and play it out under lights these days if necessary.

No doubts about the grass is the Roger's specialty and he has been focused and getting the best preparation to do a good roll in this tournament and I don't blame him after to have had such a good HC season. I understand your perspective and your wishes to see accomplished that goal but my question is again, if Rafa has had those mediocre 5 years and there are another players which have done much better than him and even they have won the tournament more than once why you are not more concerned about them instead of Rafa? because the H2H? Novak has already better too

I did not see JMDP match. Is he only slicing backhand or is his backhand back to normal? Can anyone who saw the match tell me.

I saw the last 3 games, so not enough to make a considered judgement, but from the limited coverage I saw he was mixing it up. Regardless, that backhand lacks that previous bite and penetration even when he's not slicing.
