So what about the weather impacting the state of the courts? Darth was already alluding to this yesterday and Mattek Sands has had her career ended by it in all likelihood.

Seems to work in favour of certain players I would think?
It's hot, and the courts are dry. But that makes them less slippery, so I wouldn't think that's what did in BMS's knee.

Apparently Carol is an adult and not a mentally challenged 8 year old. Makes me think it's just a troll account of some random guy out there to annoy some of us. I've added the Carol account to my ignore list, seems fishy.
Of course your ugly comment sounds more fishy and out of context and not from somene with a little brain so please keep me in your ignore list, I will do the same, thank you

Baustista Agut is two sets to love against Nishikori. A surprising scoreline. The Samurai seems out of petrol, or has an injury.

So I really wouldn't know as I haven't played on grass myself, but I was reading about people complaining about the quality of the courts. Perhaps the disappearance of the grass or poor quality of it makes it more slippery?

But Baustista is a clay courter, so he would be expected to struggle more.

In fact, he is not (we were discussing it the other day). His stats are actually better on HC than on clay.

Meanwhile, after dropping the first two sets Glassikori takes the 3rd and jumps up a break in the 4th

Correct @the AntiPusher Top half of the draw gets 2 days off.

Of course, forgot about that....

This will make it harder for me to watch the match :( Oh well, still great that Muller got his best result ever here at Wimbledon.

GM has been playing good grass court tennis the past few weeks..
Apart from the serve, Muller has nothing else. His lateral movement looks bad from the little I saw, and Nadal can exploit that. His serve is amazing. There is one service game where he served aces only.
