I'll give Andy one set -- Novak's Mid-Match Walkaboutâ„¢ -- but Novak will win in 4.

Don't be do dismissive of Andy's chances, there's always Hope:angel: Djoker struggled with Simon who is a known pusher,/ backboard. Murray is just a better version. At this point he has to know how to make things uncomfortable for Novak. If not, God help Us all.

Djokovic made things uncomfortable for himself with the 100 ufe's. Don't expect that again. Murray is 1-10 in the h2h since splitting with Lendl. Tented is more pragmatic than dismissive.

Nole in 3.
Heard Andy has a private jet waiting for him if Kim gets some pains, he might be distracted.

I was so hopeful Milos had come of age; Wawrinka win isn't enough if you look at history! It looked good for a different final after 3rd set TB and break of Murray! Will the crowd Boooooo; that is the question if it's another drubbing by the end with 6-0 set going to Nole? ;-) :ras:

I think you should be encouraged by Milos's performance. If you were expecting him to become a true elite, you were bound for disappointment, but I think what we saw - defeating Stan, taking Andy to five - means he's now a legitimate darkhorse candidate, something more than the Tsongas and Berdychs and Ferrers of the world. More of a del Potro.

Kei should be there too, but I'm starting to see him as another Ferrer type, although trading health for an occasional more explosive level.

But at least he's not Grigor Dimitrov!

Agreed for the most part, but Kei has so much more to offer than Ferrer! At his best David is just fodder for the elite players with a dismal record against them all! Kei is capable of beating any of them with several weapons at his disposal! Right now it's all in his head and of course how fragile his body is with repeated absences from the tour! :nono

FACTOID: This is a final between one man who has won all his AO final matches in the past and another man who has lost all his AO final matches in the past.

Compared to the other elites, Murray's a total pretender! He's achieved as much as he can; 2 majors, several Masters, OG, and DC won! He should be quite satisfied! I'll be glad when he's gone; absolutely hate the way he plays! :nono :p

I think if Andy cannot even produce twins, he should retire and divorce. :laydownlaughing

As a superstitious person, I don't think I like the complete of right off of Andy. For the sake of not jinxing Novak, I say Andy has a legit chance.

He has a legit chance of acting like an imbecile and cursing like a total scumbag at himself and his team when things aren't going his way but that's about the only chance he has.

I wouldn't write Andy off completely because it's not impossible that he rediscovers his Lendl vintage, but against this, there's been nothing to indicate that he has a chance...

I think the Lendl vintage is a myth really. The wind was the deciding factor in his USO win in the both the semi and final and with or without Lendl Andy stands a good chance at Wimbledon against Novak. Even now I'd rate his chances on grass WAY higher than on any of the other surfaces against Novak. Here though, he won't win.

A myth where he won his two slams, just to be accurate about it...

So Lendl brought the wind? Cool. Now maybe he could've had wind which is quite possible but, seriously, the wind was an external condition that determined the outcome more than anything else as evidenced by the fact that once the wind calmed down Novak easily won the next 2 sets. I'll give Murray credit for the Wimbledon win though.
