Looks like there were exactly three posts during the actual match. Shows the level of interest people had in watching this. :snicker

Did you all notice? Instead of wishing Andy that he will get the AO trophy someday, Novak wished him many more opportunities to fight for the trophy. :lolz:

What did you expect? We've seen this movie several times already! The only difference was the order of the pummeling; 1 set blowout with competitive results afterwards! It would have been worth checking out more for the masses if Andy had allowed Raonic to sneak through the other day! Maybe he thought Nole would donate the match to him as a gift due to all that was going on in his life back in Scotland! He should have been on a plane home 2 days ago; what an idiot! The same result; not even a set won! Truly pathetic! :cover :nono  :dodgy:

"We've seen this dreadful movie several times already!"

Fixed! (But I left the exclamation point. ;))

Congrats to Novak for winning the AO again. :clap

I don't think that someone around here cares too much about that "oxygenation machine", the only think they care is that Novak has to pass in one way or another the Rafa's numbers  :snicker
He won't ;)

I woke up 3 nights in a row this week to watch tennis, I am tired enough to then turn on my laptop to start typing as well.
By the way, I watched live only the first set, then I turned off my TV because I knew the match is in the bag. That is all I cared about.

It has been about 12 hour since the match is over, no one from tennis.com (Tignor, Bodo etc) bothered to weigh in on the match. :lolz:

:snicker I thought I was the only one checking over to see if they'd written anything.

While we wait... I enjoyed this one from the BBC. http://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/35454179

I like the way Tignor describes Novak as "a wall of skill", which is apt. Not a wall as a backboard to endlessly rebound balls back, but an opaque toolkit for every situation. Since I've been watching tennis, the dominant player is always described this way, even Lendl, who was limited in his style and shots - except when he was dominating and surefooted and cocky, and nobody was good enough to tear him down...

I think Roger's unfortunate meniscus tear will be good news for Murray, at least in the short term. May also help Novak finally get over the Cincinnati hump lol :)

These surgeries aren't invasive! Roger will be back at full speed long before the summer! I still think Nole has a good chance to win it; no matter who's in the final! He didn't play well in those summer Masters losing 1 final to Murray and Federer! He struggled to get there if you recall with long 3 setters in the semi's; 1 with Dopo! It didn't bother me since Nole already had won 4 and had 2 more chances in the fall! Everything went as predicted and hoped setting a record winning 6 of 8 played! Gotta move on from Fedal one day! ;-) :p
