So happy for Potro that his wrist is holding up, allowing him to play well.

Glad to note that JMDP won against Andy. I am sure that if not for his wrist issues, by now JMDP would have overtaken Andy Murray in career achievements.

Is he really injured or is it a rumour? I haven't checked it, but if it is the wrist, I don't know what to say...

Is Potro tired or injured???

Probably both! His DC Captain over played him! Why would he put him in the doubles with a 2-0 lead in the Rubber? What an idiot! :dodgy: :cover

After his marathon vs Murray in DC, Delpo talked about an adductor problem

It'll be a sad day for tennis if we ever see Andy Murray as world number 1 due to the absence of the best players :cover Hopefully it won't happen.

^^ It's ironic a Federer fan moaning about players benefiting from other players absence/injuries... :cover

Murray is currently 2055 ranking points back in "Race" points. He is currently scheduled to play all of the tournaments on Nole's schedule through the year's end (Shanghai, Paris, London) plus Beijing and Vienna- both 500 level tournaments. Even if Murray wins both 500s (which is certainly possible), he would have to outperform Djoko by 1055 points at the other three. I don't foresee that happening... but who knows.

I think a more likely spot for him to overtake Djoko (if that were to occur) is between the AO and RG next year, as Djoko is defending a ton of points compared to Murray in that period. But even then... Djoko is defending those points for a reason.

Murray isn't going to overtake Djoker this year. His last best hope of giving himself a shot at it was that he should win the USO, and instead he dropped a calf...

Novak practicing in Belgrade, his elbow/arm/shoulder doesn't look so bad but maybe his body/head needed some rest?

Care to name a single tournament you think Nadal was going to win that he didn't play? 'cos I can't think of any.
