They're excellent pints, Sunday morning! Very true, too. They're going to be my default setting in this row from now on... :clap

Serena has waded in with literally the most silly nonsense argument in favour of equal pay in tennis that I've ever heard:

If I have a daughter who plays tennis and also have a son that plays tennis, I wouldn’t say that my son deserves more because he is a man. If they both started at three years old I would say they both deserve the same amount of money.

“I have been playing since the age of two and it would be shocking to say my son would deserve more than my daughter. It is irrelevant. Novak is entitled to his opinion but if he has a daughter – I think he has a son right now – he should talk to her and tell her how his son deserves more money because he is a boy.

Eh. I've been playing tennis since I was two. Will you please give me some of your millions, Ms Williams? :cover

That kind of sentimental weakness is what typifies this debate...

I have seen faulty logic in my life but this must be right up there with the most moronic ones. So Serena believes the only reason a guy may deserve more money than a girl is because he has a penis...Wow.

Yeah, and the fact that a boy and girl have both being playing tennis as long as each other gives what they're both doing the same value, regardless of the levels they reach in it. :cover

There's a million women's magazines on the shelf, none of them have a sports section. I asked the missus that one. :popcorn

Its start from the Bible. Woman was made by man.

Or, until some girls do something like Djoker-Nadal 6 hours. Attraction and historic.

Novak has been let off the hook by an 84 year old who can't name a single woman author who inspired him. Twitter instantly went into a menstrual rage. A help forum is allegedly being set up to give other authors a PC list of women authors they should recite if similarly cornered: "Jane Austen, Mary Shelley, Jackie Collins."

Composers of classical music have gone into hiding, since there's no great music composed by women. This, apparently, isn't the women's fault, but the fault of patriarchal men. A fatwe has been issued and Death by Baton Beating is the verdict.

Billie Jean King was last seen heading off in a time machine, looking for Mozart and Beethoven. She said "if a woman spends as long sitting at a piano typing notes, or whatever, she deserves to be equally famous as these fellers."

Stay tuned... :popcorn

Next decision Murray is going to make regarding his coaching situation may be the most important for the remainder of his career. I hope he chooses wisely.

Well, his best next decision might be to become a coach for an upcoming youngster. :lolz:

Negative bro. ;) . Do you want a generation of youngsters constantly holding body parts, swearing, bitching at their boxes. Andy should never coach.

I don't know. He's very smart. He might be the type of person who is better at coaching someone else's flaws than himself. Who would have though Becker would have success as a coach. Then again, Becker has the benefit of coaching a winning horse overall.

Who knows, maybe he will make a great coach. But will he be able to tell a player, with a straight face " Listen, you have to stay calm...do not make excuses. You are allowed to lose a point .Sometimes your opponent will be better than you and win a long rally. Do not act like your hamstring was pulling at that moment...it is not good sportsmanship" or things of that nature? The player will just point to one of many youtube videos and say " Really?...have you ever SEEN yourself play?" :D

I am joking of course. He is a smart guy. We'll see how smart with his next decision .
