He truly loved the players and the game..and he humanized the toughest competitors.

^ Great stuff. Roger's a clever and proud man and wants his number 2 ranking back. When the Miami points come off there will be only 75 points between him and Murray I believe, with Murray defending 600 at Miami and Federer none. Quarters or better will do it for Roger if Murray loses before then I believe and too lazy to work out the other scenarios.

Fed's just trying to be nice. Let's be honest here, has Nadal the ability to hit insanely angled winners from anywhere in the court, SABR, the carved dropshot that Roger did against Murray at Wimbledon? Insane tweeners. Who has the better serve? Nadal had to adapt and evolve his game from being a one dimensional clay courter. Roger was all court, all round player years before. Of course AP then has to take it that we're being disrespectful. No one's being disrespectful. He clearly is not as talented as Roger Federer. Roger knows this and is giving poor Nadal a bit of a perk up as he goes through a tough patch in his career which is a nice gesture but, trust me, he means none of it and one only has to look at the guy who has every shot in the book to see that he's just being nice.

They both have great shots at their disposal but Federer rarely ever hits short balls and has way more weaponry and shots and a guy whose game relies more on physicality than finesse and shotmaking couldn't possibly be more talented. He also wins his matches way, way faster because Nadal doesn't hit anywhere near as many winners and has to grind out long matches. Sorry guys but that's just life. But again, kudos to Roger for being nice enough to make him feel better in this rough patch of his career.

The giveaway should be Roger saying he doesn't feel like one of the greats of sport

Predictable? Try and disagree with me with sincerity please because Roger is clearly going senile if he believes anything he said there including not considering himself one of the greats of sport when he holds the record for most slams ever won LOL.

Literally, you're being depressing and predictable. Read what Federer said and stop accusing your hero of lying. Rafa is a right handed bloke who reached #1 in the world playing left-handed. He's an incredibly talented tennis player. You're in Rafa-spam mode.

Er, so many people out there are ambidextrous. Give him a cookie. I'm not saying he's not talented, clearly he is. But also clearly he is not as talented as Roger Federer and if you can't see that you're watching the wrong sport. Roger is being humble and frankly dishonest.
