Djokovic is usually the one unnerved by these later than supposed to be starts.

Really? When did that happen?

I don't remember this happening either.

You could argue some of those stop-start french open were not great for Novak, but that seems like a different animal than a 2 hour delay.

Meh. That only happened once and sunny dry conditions at the French heavily favour Nadal. That was more of a reason he could not win the next day, certainly not because he was unravelled.

Guinea pigs on court? What an odd idea...

Everyone knows Venezuelan Castors are much more appropriate to do that... even badgers would be better.

guinea pigs make a rather charming squeak though.

:snicker

You are wrong though, nobody beats the tasmanian devil! He would cover every inch of the ground faster than Nadal, Hewitt, Borg and a hungry Nalbandian combined! It's 23:15 in Germany right now, I don't think it will start before midnight. I have to go to work at 05:00 in the morning. It's going to be a loooong day at the office but it's worth it. I remember looking, talking and acting like a zombie at work a decade ago coming off a full night marathon of Baghdatis vs. Agassi on Ashe without any sleep...

My vote goes to the ai (2-toed sloth) :p

Getting tired now :(

Me too. I think I'm out.

Not gonna watch it so? I don't feel that bad now but the thought of work tomorrow with less than 3 hours sleep is a killer :(

I might catch the first set. If they start in 15 min at least. If its another hour than Im defintely checking the scoreline tomorrow morning.

You guys are wussies! If Murray was in the final, I'd be calling in sick, kiss the wife, kids and cat goodbye, stock up on essentials and hole up in a hotel somewhere that has a wide screen and stake out until the final is over. ;)

I don't know why they schedule such a late start anyway. Even 4:00 PM in NYC is 9 or 10 PM in Europe.

OK. folks, I will be very tense today as I want to Fed to win at least this time. So, I won't be chirping in too much.

Nobody beats Roger three times consecutively in a hard court slam, not even Novak.

Go Fed!
Nadal already achieved that at the Australian Open (2009, 2012, 2014), so Novak wouldn't break new ground with a win ;)

Me too, but I feel bad for our friends who aren't in North or South America.

Maybe it has to do with the US time zones. The folks in California can watch it at noon at least this way (I think?). That would be a good reason for them I guess.
