I don't care if I have to stay up until 10 p.m. tonight. I am watching the whole thing!

Smartass :p

Ok, it's 5 p.m. (I am a time zone back from NYC), it's time to crack a beer and throw on a wife-beater.

You guys are wussies! If Murray was in the final, I'd be calling in sick, kiss the wife, kids and cat goodbye, stock up on essentials and hole up in a hotel somewhere that has a wide screen and stake out until the final is over. ;)

Then they start on Monday.

Hoping it is delayed until tomorrow. Cold and damp would favor Nole heavily.

The worst is if you capture 1 set, see your man wining it after what you ge to sleep, then in the morning, checking boxscore - shock.

So better all or none.

No. They just showed a live shot and the court is still wet.

Now they're saying not before 6:45 PM

:cover

On the bright side, this does favour Novak. So I don't mind not watching it if that means that Djokovic wins.

Aren't they supposed to have some 30-minute ceremony before play starts? That's what I've heard elsewhere

Not gonna watch it so? I don't feel that bad now but the thought of work tomorrow with less than 3 hours sleep is a killer :(

I might catch the first set. If they start in 15 min at least. If its another hour than Im defintely checking the scoreline tomorrow morning.

I don't know why they schedule such a late start anyway. Even 4:00 PM in NYC is 9 or 10 PM in Europe.

That is because many NFL games have a start time of aroun 1 p.m. and they expect them to be over by 4 p.m. and then show the step-child sport of tennis to viewers.

I would guess they will?

If they indulge in that today, it will end up as the death ceremony of the tournament chair. :devil

I doubt it. They've already paid some "star" way too much money to butcher the national anthem.

They say Fed is 1-6 when playing against #1 players. Can somebody list all of them?

The cincy win of last week must be the 1. The two losses to Novak at Wimby must be 2 in the loss column. What are the other 4 losses to #1. Should be to Nadal few times.
