The only thing he had in common with McEnroe was a mutual friend (Vitas) - that doesn't mean they hung around together as the T-Birds of Studio 54. Mac went out with Vitas and Borg in a group a few times but I think this was mainly after Borg had retired. Vitas got on with pretty much everyone by all accounts.

Let's drop the holier than thou attitude. It pisses me off in tennis. These guys are playing for millions, legacies, ego, etc...

Maybe this post belongs in my "controversial opinions" thread but I feel after years of sitting through these debates here, it's time I finally let out what everyone secretly thinks...unless Darth would be disgusted by Roger having a questionable medical timeout that ultimately helps him win a grand slam title. No, he wouldn't care, nor should he. I'm not advocating this and saying everyone should do it, but I'm saying I understand it when they do, and likely would have done the same.
