A great article by Steve Tignor, in his Tennis magazine 50th anniversary series, about The Parking Lot Revolution, which changed the shape of the men's game, in 1988...

I read it yesterday, Tignor is the best writer of Tennis.com (he never is right about who is going to win though lol)

Yeah, read that. Good to see the authorities have the most important issues top of their list. :cover

You mean to say if it had been something else, it might never even have been mentioned?

No, I'd never suggest that  But yes, of course. Nah, on 2nd thoughts they wouldn't give a damn about players ranked that low. Poor old Spud (Potato Starch) would've been mashed potato starch.

Umm clearly you don't remember the Davydenko betting controversy when he was ranked in the top 10...

Are they (especially Ferrer0 likely to be fit to play at USO?

Ferrer said that his elbow was still a problem, don't know what to think about him. hope he can play and be fit again

Well, Ferrer is almost sure to lost his top 8 seeding at USO, as he ahs 600 points to denfend in Cincy which he cannot defend.
