RE: NBA Playoffs

Miami was tough on D big time invthe fourth quarter and LeBron and Dwayne were champions invthe last quarter. I liked the grit in the second half by Miami.

What's with Cavs and Numero uno's man...How many did they get in the last 10 years?

It's 3 in the past 5 years I think. Anyone else believe the NBA feels sorry for them after The Decision?

Anyways I am happy the Bucks got top 2. It will be Wiggins and Parker in some order at 1-2. Missed most of the game tonight, must have been a lot better defense from both teams.

Edit: Actually 3 in the last 4 now. That's insane.

Lakers & Celts don't make the top 5.

%1.7 odds man! Somebody or something is watching over Cavs, that's for sure...

They are doing a bit better in avoiding small ball but I still think they should have 2 of their 3 bigs on the court for the vast majority of the game especially when Duncan and Splitter are in the game.

Spurs are just in the zone these playoffs aside from a couple tough losses to Dallas. It's going to be tough for anyone to beat them.

OKC did a lot of things better than they did in game 1, I think the rotations they're going with are much better but SA is playing very good defense on Westbrook and Durant and they had a good 5 minute stretch to end the half and suddenly are up 14.

Can't blame it all on Ibaka or the coach. OKC's stars didn't show up and the perimeter defense was atrocious. The only thing that can cheer them up is the fact they've been down 2-0 to SA before and then took 4 straight games. But again that was with Harden and Ibaka and SA wasn't playing as well as they are now.

I'm thinking they win one of those games in OKC, probably game 3 and then Spurs take the series 4-1.

Yeah it's just tough, Spurs are moving the ball too well and OKC has little prayer of defending them. Durant has to go nuts otherwise they will struggle to win a game.

RE: NBA Playoffs

Scott Brooks, "one of the best coaches" in the NBA, is still trying 40 different line-ups, including ones he never used in the regular season. I understand the Ibaka injury threw them off, but he learned about it right after the Clips game, and it's obvious he has no idea what to do. Spurs are also killing them on the pick and roll and Brooks has yet to figure out a way to deal with it. On top of that, their offensive spacing is absolutely atrocious too, and Durant/Westbrook were again playing iso ball, jacking up terrible shots, and not attacking the rim.

Maybe they realize how close they were last year if not for 36 seconds of epic failing. Anyway, you could say Dallas tuned them up for the remainder of the post season. I thought Portland/OKC would present some resistance, but you were right when you said the Spurs would just get better.
