Final score 102-96 MIA. Bron ended w/ 49 points. Had a chance to score 50, but bricked a FT in the waning seconds

Missed the last one. That would have made things really interesting if nets won when Bron went nuts. Now it is probably over in 5

It was Bosh's 3 that was the go ahead shot and then the Nets get beat by Wade for another board.

Paul is a great defender AP. He just isn't quick enough to stay in front of Westbrook (who is?) and Russ is also bigger and stronger and can back him down. He can stay in front of Durant no problem but he can't contest his shot and that's the problem.

Darth , I am only 6 feet tall, I can post up CP..CP is good for getting a lot of steals but his man on man defense isn't something that is going to give a player nightmares

Agree to disagree there. CP3 is one of the best defensive guards in the league but Westbrook is way too quick. Durant is too big and as mentioned before he should be posting up every time but that's not his game yet.

Darth,,, I can name about 10 other gurads in the league that are better defenders than CP3. He has quick hands but his feet are just average.. He doesnt have the height, strength, jumping ability or extraordinary quickness like a Rose or Westbrook to make an avg NBA guard worry.
However.. its just my opinon and I know how you are. stubborn to a fault.. you want CP3 to be your starting guard in the back court..

You sound like Cali. There is more to the game than athleticism. Paul has been 1st team all defense 3 times and. 2nd team twice. Paul is quick enough, great hands, great anticipation, tenacious, etc. a total athletic freak like Westbrook is tough for anyone to handle.

I have seen his posts..Cali knows his BB.. somewhat

The guy ranks JR Smith as the most talented player in the league and thought the wizards were going to win the East...

I did apply the caveat " Somewhat" Cali knows his BB.. in today's game nobody is as gifted as LBJ, Kobe, Dwade, Durant, Drose and Westbrook.. Those guys were all just born to play the game and play it on a different level the the rest of the human race.

50-50 tonight for heat-Nets. Lebron has to be more assertive throughout instead if just one quarter.

Looks like that is precisely what happened last night.

RE: NBA Playoffs

I was just listening to the clowns on tv ( Chuck, Shaq, etc...I do like them , they are funny) and they said the rebound numbers in the Pacers-Wizz game. I did a double take ! 62 to 23 for the Wizz ! I do not remember anything like this ever, especially in someone else's gym??? Holy ...

Clips are playing good ball too. OKC's lack of variation is just mind boggling.

That's "one of the best coaches in the NBA" Scott Brooks for you...

Seriously...Westbrook putting his head down and kamikaze diving towards the basket is NOT offense.

RE: NBA Playoffs

Crazy finish to this game! Durant hits a three, a steal and a score for OKC, and than another steal and they are only down 2. All in 20 seconds or so.

OKC ball with 11 seconds to go. Weird call. There was a foul but they cannot review that. The ball came out of the OKC guys hand, but OKC has the ball. Sort of like a make up call.

Now Westbrook is fouled during a three point shot !
