I think stan will probably produce another singles victory. But, we need at least one from Fed.

If this goes to five sets (actually even otherwise), Fed can forget about playing doubles tomorrow.

Yup. Looks like we're in for a thriller on Sunday.

If he's getting blown out by Monfils it will also be tough vs. Tsonga, and how much will the back be better in 2 days time when he is playing today... As we know it's not over vs. Monfils until the last point so maybe he can get back in this.

Gael had better close Fed out in 3 before he gets the "willies"( not JoWilliesTs)

If I had to choose a player from the top 50 to try a comeback from two sets to love, I would choose Monfils.

There is also the question of how badly will Roger want to fight to get back in this from 2 sets down. A 5 setter would probably destroy any chance he'd have on Sunday and no guarantee he could come back from 2 sets down this time.

Feds backhand is absolutely terrible. I could do better.

But, it won't happen again and again especially with the same player across the net.

It would be a complete irony if Swiss loses the DCF because Fed could not deliver due to back injuries. Where is Mirka when we need her?

I wonder if Mirka will appear in the stand for the next set, "moral support", and all... :puzzled

2 straight matches he gets down 2 sets to the scrub. But this one is understandable.

Well.. the French davis cup captain will not let Monfils.. play for himself, Monfils knows that this is for the team/country

Roger seems prophetic given his interview before YEC a couple weeks ago about how things could go really badly the last couple weeks and ruin his chance to have a decent season...
