As I predicted Federer is not playing in doubles. Stan Wawrinka and Marco Chudinelli are
playing doubles. The Italians decided to field Bolelli and Fognini in doubles too (instead
of Seppi and Lorenzi).

The match is currently going on. The Italians won the first set and the swiss won the
second set. The third is on serve at 1-1.

Canada also took a 2:0 lead over Colombia after the first day with Pospisil and Eaonic winning in straight sets over Giraldo and Gonzalez respectively. Good job so far.

Italy beat Switzerland in doubles but the fog was oncourt for over 3hrs 30mins..ideal prep to be destroyed tomorrow in singles by a rested fedster.

talking of dc rank points..do you know about djokovics points, atp site points breakdown shows 290pts for 2014, as Serbia were in final last year but doesn't have drop date..

presumably most of those 290pts drop off Monday and/or after 2014 final. ?.

As far as I know Nole's semi final 140 points will drop off on Monday, but his final 150 points count in the race for 2014 as DC final was after the WTF last year. So his DC final 150 points will drop after this year's WTF from his total points. That is how I understand it anyway.

I too think that is how it works. It does not come all off at one time. There are four different
parts to the DC points and they fall off gradually.

Argentina. India won v. Serbia with a veteran doubles team. Netherlands v. Croatia still open, as is Ukraine v. Belgium, with the Croats and Belgians leading 2-1.

Brazil did more than staying alive, they are lading Spain with 2-1.

Yuki Bhambri and Filip will play the decider (and Filip will most probably win that).
