Sabine is her Partner!

:wow:

Didn't she coach the Sabinator @ AO

Makes sense and Good luck to them.

Yes, I saw Sabine coached by Hingis (on the bench) during her Dubai match

I think Genie can handle BYE in the 1st Round, but her play of late hasn't impressed me :nono

I predict a good tournament for Genie. She will take matters into her own hands and start playing well again. She is a fighter and wont just lay down. She had a mental fatigue and too much biever scandal :D
If she gets to R4 she will be a hell of a match to Simona. This draw is a conspiracy to stop Simona having more success. Its a very mean draw for Simo

Match of the day for me.
Bencic destroyed France in the fed cup and is a future player and Watson on form is a good player.

The IW will mentally get too tough for her. She will need a lot of mental power in front of the attention, the celebrations in Romania which drifted her away, the tough draw against uncomfortable players..
I have a bad feeling and her first match will be very tough. Hope she proves me wrong again :)

It does seem that Simona and Genie are going through a lot of the same things. But Simona's is worse because her ranking is higher. Not that I would want her ranking to be lower, but it seems like the higher the ranking is the more under a microscope the players are!

You are totally correct and her whole country sees her as their new sports star. It means a lot to them. They are not USA which has many world class sportsmen and women in many sport domains.

Genie does get a little slack in that because Canada does have other stars in sports, but having said that maybe it makes all the attention she has gotten that much more unusual?

There are 12 qualifiers and 8 wild cards, lets see how many survive?

And 32 byes which in my opinion is very wrong and not sportive.
Only 8 byes should be given so that 24 more players can play !
I want to see only 8 byes in all tournaments including grand slams.

No its not me. You will get him banned there, poor soul ;) They will check his login info and keep him alive I guess.
Its like the KGB down there :laydownlaughing such idiots while everyone is abusing everyone.
They keep the fake show off... as if its a decent normal forum..
And Mido1988 is very mild compared to me ;)
I stopped login there months ago, a waste of time.

What about Kristen88

Watson through that one in straights, but 7-5, 6-4.

Pity Vera Zvonareva lost her match after dishing out a bagel in set 2. Hope she starts winning some matches soon.
