Murray looking dismal so far. Stan isn't even having to play especially well. Andy looking way to pedestrian, and nothing is clicking for him.

Murray needs to start anticipating that rally backhand down the line. Wawrinka isn't having to hit it especially hard (though he certainly can), but he's just catching Andy by surprise every time.

Wow, Andy better give Stan a little bit of a workout... netted volley, netted approach and he's down 0-40

Just awful tennis. You'd think Stan was #3 in the world right now just watching the two of them.

No reason he couldn't be #3, other than the space between his ears and the tennis ball that gets lodged in his throat in the big moments of matches. :cover

Drysdale just said Wawrinka hasn't faced a break point. Does anyone who's been watching think that's true? Sometimes Drysdale isn't the sharpest tool.

Wozniacki must be loving this pusher fest.

Sounds true. Not 100% sure as I am listening while working.

Murray's forehand looking like something you'd see on the WTA tour, and I don't mean that to come off as disrespectful. It's just looking so pedestrian, and lacking any impact. Plus, for a guy with such a great backhand down the line, he rarely go for that shot nearly enough.

Anyone think he can come back to win in 5? I'm not feeling it based on the little bit I watched.

Tented, with Stan's track record on the big stage - if Andy wins this next set, it becomes very possible.

Agreed. Though Murray needs to raise his level considerably to take the third, as even if Stan does get tight now, I'm really not sure Andy's playing well enough to capitalize.

So true. This match could turn out like Melbourne 2013 against Djokovic.

Holy moly! Listining on USOpen radio. Stan up a set and a break!

Andy looks disheveled and frustrated.

I'd look disheveled and frustrated too if all those winners whizzed by me. :p

I'm not seeing it to be brutally honest, Tented. Not seeing it today.

All he is does is cover it and hook it cross court. Its a puff ball. He gets pace and weight when he uses his body weight. It is not a natural stroke like the backhand. It is as I said, the worst of, by far, of the Big Four.

Nadal does not even GET into rallies on HC these days. 4 strokes and he pummels a forehand.

Andy dumps serve again. Now down 2 sets and a break. It's ovah. Stan would have to go on a serious walkabout to lose this. Murray is nowhere near good enough to get back into this at his current level.
