Jess Pegula too good in the 2nd set against Azarenka 76 (3) 61 and is the first player through to the final in Mexico
Jess has been consistent and solid all week getting to the final and really deserves her spot

Highlight of this match so far has been the return of serve and returns off both wings by Jessica she gets a double break and will serve for the 1st set 5-2 against Sakkari
A love service game from Jessica in 28 mins and and the last 5 games to win the 1st set 62

Sakkari gets her first BPs of the match, Jess seemed a bit nervous serving for the title and Sakkari breaks,
Sakkari to serve 3-5 2nd set

Congratulations to Jessica Pegula, who has been soo consistent with her results of all year on the WTA tour and her reward winning a WTA1000 title in GuadalajarSaka

Jessica will move to a career high ranking of No 3 on Monday
Sakkari had a better tournament in Mexico reaching the final, though Jessica was too composed and consistent and played a much cleaner match in today's final

Happy and sad at the same time by that result.
