They both hit the cover off the ball and love to boss the baseline. It will be a tight contest. Konta2 has the more reliable serve. It just may be enough to give her the edge in this one.
Ostapenko is getting wiped out this first set

Arghh! I can't see it because they are showing the men. She's made more of an impression in the second, although Annett will be serving for the match at 5-4
Keli, You know your tennis especially the WTA . Jelena has a bad matchup problem with Annett. Great win for Kontaviet.

Just finished watching high lights of Kontaveit v Ostapenko match ( as I needed to catch up on much needed sleep)
Well done to Kontaveit her ninth consecutive win ending Ostapenko's 9 match winning streak to reach the final at Doha 61 64

First win for Iga against Sakkari after 3 defeats - and Iga did it well despite a couple of minor breakdowns - nice semi me thinks

Tracey Austin is providing some brilliant analysis. Is it fair to say that she is the biggest GiANT slayer of all time. I think she won a GS win she was just turning 16.

Sloane is back with Kamau Murray again.. Have there ever been a player get reunited with their coach as often as these two have. Maybe Halep and Cahill..
She is back w/ Murray but she isn't quite doing what he used to tell her. I used to hear him shouting at her, I don't care if you have to hit 50 balls a rally, I don't want to see any errors coming from your racquet.

Possibly. The Swiss Miss was small in stature, slayed all the bigger players and was a teen too.

Tracey was 5-4 and defeated Chrissy and Martina at 16..Swiss Miss was a little bit taller at 5-6 but was a superior player than Tracey. I know she began collecting scalps early and she may have beaten Seles and Graf at that age too.

Impressive first set of tennis from Iga, 6-2 over Annet....Iga playing more aggressive tennis, with balance, since she hooked up with her new coach, and it is paying off.,she has to keep this up against Anett in the 2nd set.
