Maybe we

Maybe we should name her The Almost Greek Goddess because she NEVER seems to be able to land on top.. jajaja
I call her the Goddess because she's built like one of the Gods, but definitely needs to hire Felix's sports psychologist to fix her head. She would be unplayable then.

Yes ma'am, she is built like Angela Bassett as Tina Turner's What's Love have to do with it! "Eat the cake Annie Mae, just Eat the Cake"

Ladies are in Dubai,

It was a messy match between J.Pegula v C.Gauff, .........Pegula winning 64 64....there were 10 breaks of serves in the match!
I know that Coco is still a teenager, still she really needs to work on her serve, she had 10 DFs and had 52 UFE to 15 winners in the match
Pegula had 9 W to 34 UFE.

I keep saying Coco should slow it down! She needs to practice more but stay home and be a kid! Burnout is inevitable with so many distractions out there in the world as she travels from continent to continent! She's missing out on so much and might resent it later! :astonished-face::exploding-head::angry-face:

Under the WTA player development...which was put in place for younger players, a 17 year old may play up to 16 professional tournaments per year. One of the reasons being to stop 'burn out'.

It appears the No 1 seed Sabalenka's serve has found its way to Dubai, winning in straight sets over M.Kostyuk 64 61

No 3 seed Paula Badosa was upset by Elena Ruse, who scored her first Top 10 win, in 3 sets.63 57 64

M.Vondrousova wins by retirement over D.Collins who retired due to 'dizziness' 26 30.

Defending champion Garbine Muguruza fights past Siniakova in a tough 3 setter.

It's a wonder I wasn't carted off the courts a few times more than happened! I was so lucky; esp. since I never did what you were supposed to do when it came to health, playing tennis, etc.! I didn't hydrate, I ate poorly even if I did consume something, and the only time I got any decent sleep is if ill with a fever to really knock me out! I was just on the courts from early morning into the night! I can count on one hand when I felt dizzy, faint, or nauseous on court and NEEDING to go home! :ambulance::ptennis:

I was a serious player and teacher! It was my life from 14 years old! Being a homebody and avid reader, it got me out of the house besides going to school and the library! No one believes how much I say I played, but if someone goes thru a few neighborhoods in Chicago, there are legends of me playing around the clock! A security guard from my HS is still out there and told someone they remember me well for that reason! I had more tennis clothes than leisure wear and formal attire! I've already embarrassed myself by saying how many rackets I went thru over the years! I spent a fortune on all the accoutrements needing indoor court time over the winter! :ptennis: :astonished-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth::dance2::clap:

I never got enough! At 18, I ran half a mile to catch a ride to play at 6:30 AM at indoor club for their "morning special" out in Sibley Il.! Torrential rains were going on, but I got there in time, though it was pitch black dark outside! :face-with-hand-over-mouth: :astonished-face::ptennis::-)2:face-with-tears-of-joy:

Playing tennis in Chicago is not as fluent as playing in Florida or Atlanta because of the weather. Fiero .you most likely played at Mcfredrige on the north side and Mid Town tennis club. You had to cross paths with Katrina Adams with her good looking self!
