Sorry for this complaint which is following. Naomi Osaka and Victoria Azarenka have also retired and made a so-called walkover. I think it's a little strange that you allow it, because the so-called injuries the players claim to have do not last. If in a worry players should line up for the announced match and at least lose to the other player. As I have previously suggested, you should introduce a playing quarantine of about 5 days so people can recover IF they are injured. This is to make fun of people who pay to watch the sport. If a player thinks that the subsequent tournament is more important than the one you are registered for, then you must withdraw before the tournament starts as, for example, Bianca Andreescu has done, who as you know did not show up this week. But maybe I'm the only one who thinks this?

If this argument from Azarenka is concerning this - didn't see the interview - then I've lost my interest in Azarenka

I think you're too judgmental. There is a lot going on at once, and it's stressful for everyone. Normal rules don't apply. There is tennis going on, which is in part so that lots of tennis players can actually make some money and keep playing tennis. Maybe some players decide it's time to focus on the Major. Like everything else in these weird times, we have to let everyone make their own decisions, and leave off the judgements. Right now, everyone can only do what they can do. Is that fair?

Halep is also struggling with a back injury and she decided to play yesterday and got beaten though at what cost?.......Players are picking up injuries niggling, because of the long off season due to COVID-19 and lack of match practice.,also the AO being pushed back a couple of weeks.

Maybe I'm judgemental but it's ruining the game IMHO. Make future rules that says. 1. DOn't play if you think the tournament the following week is more important. 2. If you retire you can't play any tournaments for the next five days - also a way to take care of the real injuries. 3. Alow the losing player to go on in the tournament - like in the Williams match - here a lucky looser would be fine. The way Azarenka is arguing is a shame for the sport.

My point is that during this unusual time, things are a bit wacky and it's ok to be a little more understanding. There is nothing usual about shipping a bunch of tennis players to Oz, quarantining them for 2 weeks, and then trying to shove a bunch of tournaments in, including days before the big event. We're not talking about the future, when, hopefully, things go back to normal. We're talking about tennis in a pandemic. I think we can be a little understanding.

Bianca Andreescu is dealing with a 'lower body issue',citing that as the reason for withdrawal from Adelaide International.
I hope this is just precautionary, after 15 months off,Bianca has played six long matches over 9 days.

Poor Andreescu is one perpetually injured young girl. Like the female Kokkinakis. Lousy.
