20 year old Dayana Yastremska,ranked 29th and one of the highest ranked young players on the WTA,has been provisionally suspended after testing positive for mesterolone metatbolate on December 22,for a positive testing in a urine sample on November 24,
Yastremska will now have the option to appeal the charge in court or await the final duration of the suspension from WADA.

Yastremska has a statement saying she tested 2 weeks earlier at the Linz tournament on the 9th of November and it was negative and she will work closely with her team to clear her name.

May I ask this, without getting on the bad side of the moderators, AGAIN??? REALLY? Unless my eyes deceive me this young lady was very fortunate the first time around, now I am hearing this happened again? Please, someone tell me I misunderstood? Anyone?

Congrats to Tauson for her victory at the Luxembourg Open. Proving she can play on all surfaces, and to defeat a former GS champion is a great accomplishment. It will be interesting to see how her game matures and what results she might have at GS championships in the 2022 season.

Hopefully she 'matures' her on her court behavior as I am not a fan.,her attitude needs to change,at times she carry's on like a 'spoilt brat',complains ,like in today's final

I think Simona is putting her life in order,she will turn 30 soon and she said she would like to start a family around 30.Also she has had many injuries this year.I agree with your thoughts retirement may just be around the corner.

I think that at this point Madison needs all the help she can get. She has really been headed south in the rankings so Keys may need a new voice in her ear.

Keys has had some good coaches in the past,quite frankly it has not helped her.Keys has a 'one dimensional game' and has never had a B plan when her A game is not working.I personally thought Davenport was a ideal coach for Madison,they did not pan out.
I know Darren Cahill will be coming to the AO in 2022,seeing it will be held in January 17th next year,he will have to come early and quarantine for 2 weeks like all players will,meaning their Christmas plans will be interrupted.

This is no surprise.....Naomi Osaka has withdrawn from Indian Wells tournament

She has no desire or time for tennis right now. She likes going to the ESPY's and the MET gala. What she fails to realize: tennis is her vehicle into all these parties. W/o tennis she would be walking the red carpet in front of her house.
