Yes and no. This thing can mutate, thus creating a different strand. It's hard to create a vaccine when the virus continues to change. That being said, it does have a shelf life. Maybe all of the shutdowns will allow the thing to run its course and dry up.
Here in Australia we are already testing a vaccine,though you cannot make a vaccine overnight,it really takes about 1 year plus,after making up a vaccine and testing on animals,then humans.This is a transmitting virus,hopefully with the shut downs in place,hopefully throughout the world,it will flatten.People Must Stay Indoors and only go out for essentials,washing hands is soo important,little contact with people also important.Here in Sydney we have very strong restrictions in place,also we are getting heavily fined it not observing the restrictions.In my hospital fathers are allowed in at present in labor ward,after the baby arrives,they leave and not allowed back until the mother is ready to go home., no visitors are allowed.Other maternity hospitals in the world,for example
Ireland,the father takes his wife to the hospital and is not allowed in at all.He just drops her at the front door.
