She is AIGHT. She really doesnt have the sex appeal of Hingis or dare I say Sharapova but I am bias. I like the curvy chicks

Seriously? Hingis is nowhere as beautiful as Wozniacki and Sharapova reminds me of a banshee scarecrow with stringy hair. I'll never understand why people think she is even remotely attractive. Wozniacki here however....

Broken Toe Affected Ivanovic At Australian Open: report from Kamakshi Tandon,11th February.

Ana Ivanovic has cited a broken toe as one of the reasons for her uneven Australian Open performance, saying it interfered with her preparation. The No 5 seed lost in the first round, despite reaching the final of Brisbane two weeks before the tournament. The former No 1's high expectations collided with her injury problems, leaving her feeling a lot of pressure."I broke my toe and wasn't able to practice as much," she told Gulf News."I felt quite stressed and these things combined meant that I wasn't able to play my best tennis. But my opponent,Lucie Hradecka, played a great match and she deserved to win. While recording some good victories and winning four smaller events last season,Ivanovic noted that she did not produce a deep run at a major."Maybe should try something different,so I can relax more when I'm playing these big events," she said.

Ivanovic next plays the WTA event in Dubai, which will feature eight of the Top 10.

Caroline Wozniacki: Godiva Ambassador.

It's been a sweet few weeks for Caroline Woznicacki breaking back into the Top 5 after the Australian Open and just a few days appearing in this year's Sports Illustrated Summer Edition. But things get even sweeter for the World No 5 on Wednesday,as it was announced she's now the Global Celebrity Ambassador for Godiva, the global leader in premium chocolate.

"At Godiva we like to say that we can turn a simple smile into a Wow,and Caroline does the same around the world," Mohamad Elsarky, the Chief Executive Officer of Godiva.

"No matter where tennis takes me across the globe,I always find myself in a Godiva store," said the Dane, whose next WTA stop is Dubai."It's the perfect partnership because it allows me to indulge a little when I'm on the road and in need of a pick-me-up."

Woznicacki will support Godiva initiatives all year while she's on the WTA circuit, including China,Europe.the US and the Middle East.Godiva operates over 500 boutiques in over 80 countries.

I would like to make a personal observation,Rory calling off the marriage to Caroline in hindsight was the best thing that could have happened to Caroline.Caroline has competed in a marathon, she is now back in the Top 5 in the world ranking, recently done a SI Swimsuit, now made Godiva Ambassador, her popularity appears now to be stronger than ever, both on and off the court.

For Eugenie Bouchard the BNP Fortis Diamond Games are the first tournament with her new coach Sam Sumyk,

"I've just started working with Sam," says Bouchard."We've spent some time training in Montreal the past week or so.I'm excited to play our first tournament together."

"My fitness trainer Scott has been friends with Sam for a while,Scott found out that Sam was going to stop working with Vika (Victoria Azarenka) and suggested that we meet and the rest is history."

This is was one of the questions that was asked Bouchard in a pre-tournament interview.

Note.Scott Brynes was also the fitness trainer of Azarenka for a while, when she was coached by Sam Sumyk,Scott Brynes also was the fitness trainer of Ana Ivanovic when she won RG in 2008.

I always wanted him to coach Caroline Wozniacki.

I have met Sam at Apia International in 2012 when Vika won there and then went onto win her first Australian Open title.I actually was kind of frightened of him,he never smiles and looks angry to me,though may I say he is one of the nicest people you could meet.I know Scott Byrnes who was at that time Vika's fitness trainer and he introduced us.I congratulated him, saying I felt he brought a calmness to Vika,Vika I felt can be her own worst enemy on court at times, she didnt handled her emotions well.He thanked me by the way.Sam has also coached Vera Zvonerava as well.He is a excellent coach,Bouchard has a lot to be thankful for now with Sam has her coach,he is also very good technical wise, that is a area where Bouchard needs help, her fhand technique is woeful.

I don't know about that AP. I'm a girl and I think Caro is oozing sex appeal in this photos.

By the way, you think Sharapova is curvy? I don't think so. She's tall, but not as curvy as some others.

Serena or Li: Sportswoman Of The Year?

Serena Williams and Li Na have both been nominated for Laureus World Sportswoman Of The Year.
What historic feat will Williams achieve if she wins the award?

Serena Williams and pole vaulter Yelena Isinbayeva are the only two woman ever to win the award twice.Serena in 2003 and 2010.Isinbayeva won it in 2007 and 2009.No woman has ever won the award three times. If Serena wins this year's she will be the first.

The six woman up for this year's Laureus World Sportswoman Of The Year are,Williams,Li,Valerie Adams (shot put),Marit Bjorgen (skiing),Genzebe Dibabs (track)and Tina Maze (skiing).

Williams had her fourth No.1 season in 2014,having finished No.1 in 2002,2009 and 2013 as well. She won WTA-leading seven titles, including the US Open and her third straight WTA finals title. She was the first player to rank No.1 from start to finish in a season since Steffi Graf in 1996,and she also earned the biggest prize money payout in tennis history, male or female-$4 million at the US Open ($3 million for winning the US Open and $1 million for winning the US Open series).

Li had just as historic year in 2014,though it turned out to be her last year as a player. She was already the first Asian player to win a Grand Slam title, male or female, having won the French Open in 2011,but she repeated the feat by winning her second Grand Slam title at the Australian Open. She also set the record for highest-ranked Asian player, male or female, rising to No.2 in February-in fact she and Williams spent much of the season as the Top 2 in the world,Li retired in September.

This year's awards are in Shanghai on April 15th.
