Funny thing, during Serena's match, when she, Rena, started to grunt, and he's is a grunt, Rennae Stubbs stated Serena was in the borderline of a hindrance, yet these chick's scream at the top of their lungs and no hindrance.....wth?!

Sharapova's grunting was ridiculous although so was Serena's today. The WTA need to do something really. Obviously there are some bad cases on the men's side too.

Didn't see Serena's match, so I can't comment on that, but Maria was awful tonight. She gets louder as the tension grows. But if they both are making a lot of noise, it should be called whether it's a shriek or a full-on grunt.

Really interesting that video montage they decided to show Sharapova at the end which was about people assessing whether they think Maria is either tough or pretty. I'm not sure what they were going for there, but I love how the WTA has decided to position her as the glam girl of the group. Did they make the same video for Serena after her match? Probably not...

LOL, sorry. Well I was slagging Sharapova (for good reason with that ridiculous noise) and she's Russian and so is my wife so I call it a draw To be honest Sharapova is about as Russian as Postman Pat but whatever
