WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai 2015

Still having trouble figuring out this tournament but if Venus wins the thing, she could finish at No. 7 in the Year-end rankings. I realize it's a schedule thing and all but this tournament really should come before the WTA Finals. Very anticlimactic and not getting much attention I think. Most fans are confused by it because it's after the "season-ending" championships in Singapore. Needs to be rethought.

Technically that would be difficult. The Elite Championship is supposed to be #9 - 20; but #9 and 10 are also alternates for the YEC. If the Elite played before YEC then there's the possibility that #9-10 could end up playing both tournaments.

Venus was jogging around Singapore last week just in case she was needed. (Considering all the injuries the women had, it was a miracle she wasn't.) You simply ignore the person or make your point as you've done now - and then don't go into arguing there's no point in that. Then you can "like" the persons who write something you like. It gives a bit of confidence to those people. I normally ignore Tossip and comment if there's something I like - actually quite simple we can't agree in everything, can we.

Having a negative opinion about a tennis player like - She's a lousy player or even I dislike her shrieks is one thing but comments which clearly show contempt or even hate towards a player have no place in any forum - This is a tennis forum and one can wonder how comments like "pova's smug behind - no man wants her or flatten that pova loving ass" are relevant or accepted comments on a tennis site - The comment about Keys having "self hate issues" border close to racism since it is insinuated that Keys as a black woman can not like a white peer

I am all for free speech - However even in the real world free speech is limited when it comes to slander other persons - Somewhere you've to draw a line and as far as I can see it is you guys who're administrating this site who don't get that

If I had been the administrator I would have banned tossip for life a long time ago - Guys like him just poison the good sense of a forum with all his hate

I remember reacting to what I thought was a post from that contributor that didn't fall very short of tin-foil claptrap (and I say that as a black woman) -- then I realised after a while that everyone else seemed to be ignoring that poster, so I too decided to ignore him/her. Sometimes it just doesn't make sense flogging a dead horse on the internet.

My advice to you: fight the battles where you can win them; on the internet, /ignore is your friend
