I think it'll be like the 2012 final, except this time everybody will sit in the correct chair... :popcorn

While I would like to see Novak win in a quick two sets of 6-1, 6-0, Federer is a spiteful cuss who hates losing. He watched whatever slim chance he had to reach Y.E. #1 go down in flames, and would love to turn the tables and keep Novak from winning his third consecutive World Tour Final trophy.

I believe it will be two competitive sets with Novak winning. If Nole allows the partisan crowd get to him and loses focus, anything can happen from there, but I think this match is on his racquet this time.

And just for the record, Roger is straight too, but it wouldn't matter if he wasn't... ;)

Just watched him come out onto the court to speak to the crowd and apologise because he won't be able to play. They're going to get Murray to play Novak as a substitute

What injury is it?

I think this must be a first for Federer, to withdraw injured.

So Murray-Djoker is an exo? Lousy for the fans...

Shouldn't it be Stan playing though btw? He did better than Murray.

He gave a walkover to Blake a few years ago too.

Haha! that's a good question. But I am hoping that Roger too the decision because he's placing the DC final as a higher priority for him than the WTF. Maybe he feels that if he participates he won't have anything left

Well he definitely has a better chance at winning DC than here imo but depends how badly he's hurt I guess. Hopefully nothing more than a stiff back and tired legs. Sucks though, was looking forward to watching him and Murray v Djokovic is a one sided joke the last few matches. Stan should've been the one chosen to play but thinking about it he's mentally in a bad state after yesterday's loss and also tired so I guess a fresh Murray would be better for the fans.

That's a great question. Perhaps Stan has already left London?

Is Feliciano still in town? Surely the alternate gets a shot, no? :popcorn
