She couldn't wait to get off court! Been there with oppressive heat! Try playing a 3rd match in the middle of summer here in Chicago! I pulled a Sampras throwing up in my 2nd rounder before going down in the 3rd of the day! I knew I shouldn't have eaten that bratwurst!

Extreme Weather Policy is in place,

Players have a 90 seconds sit down at change of ends, which is normal.Players can have a ten minute break before a deciding set.(3 players have retired so far due to heat).

I have really been impressed with the good form that Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova has showed to date in these Olympics
In her two matches to date she has defeated her opponents 1st match 60 61 and has just completed her 2nd match 61 61 ( I hope i have not hexed her

The draw is very weak and so people are getting easy opponents early. Pavly beat two players both of whom are outside the top 100. Can't infer anything meaningful from the score lines of these matches.
