It all comes down to novak's meditation. Fed fans won't love the last paragraph.

Yeah, I saw that. I thought Novak was Orthodox Church?

He definitely is a great successful player! But I couldn't help but laugh as I dont care for his public persona.

Novak is definitely a christian of some sort (would be surprised if not orthodox), but I think a lot of people follow buddhist philosophy without, necessarily buying into its cosmology.

He should chat to his priest, because Buddhist philosophy is inseparable from whatever inspired it. I was surprised at this, but then Nole seems to wave many flags while supping where it suits him...

Uh? I don't care about his performance today. I'm sure Rafa is resting his knee on a sunny beach the neither of us can afford... ;)

He is in ibiza. You should be able to afford to go to that beach, perhaps not have the same level for accomodation

Yeah, sure, cause I have nothing better to do:D

They showed a picture with him on ESPN, and for your calmness, he keeps his knee band on the beach on as well, so he doesn't get gurt when simming:cool:

I was dissappointed with Dolgo's loss. He really outplayed Ferrer for most of the match, and as usual just had too many ups and downs. That he went away mentally in the end is just disheartening.

Yeah me too. Shot selection is often questionable and no need to go for as much as he does on every shot. When it works it's spectacular but when it doesn't it's spectacularly bad and downright disappointing.

A lesson for Dolgo, and many others in fact, if David is not playing well, you want to put him away as fast as possible, otherwise if you keep him around, he'll outlast you and as the match progresses and you are getting tired, he actually could get better instead of worst, like today.
Many say David has no weapons, stamina is not an obvious one, but it an asset, which could be as useful as a weapon.

Sounds good but you need to fit Haas there somewhere without taking anyone out. You can do it...;)

hmmm a semi-final line up with 5 players :snigger

not too sure that its going to be feasible, I think whoever is up to play against 2 opponents at once might complain to the chair ump in the strongest possible terms. :D

Ferrer's forehand is one of the most chronically underrated shots in all of tennis. It absolutely is a weapon, and it is very much like a lesser version of Rafa's fh. It never misses, he can hit all sorts of spots and angles with it, you can't attack it b/c of the spin and the inside out can really blow a point wide open in terms of court position.

Well-said, Haelfix. David will reach #3 in the world, no matter what happens, I think. People consistently underestimate his game, and insist that he has "no weapons." I this era of so many greats, I'm not sure how anyone thinks he gets to #3 with just a good attitude.
