Was it in or out???? It is IN and Nole wins.

There is a lesson for a lot of younger players here. Radek , at age 35, left everything on the court here. Fought till he had no more in him. That's how you do it.

Big standing O for both players.

Forget calling Nadal a warrior, he's only 28. At 35 and a performance like that, Stepanek is a true warrior. What a great player. Bet Djokovic and fans were relieved that last ball was in!

!4 Grand Slam titles , 9 French Open titles, the All time leader in MS titles, Golden Slam, and career GS slam and 20 something to 10 H2H over the current GOAT(Fed)..

And you want to call the Worm a greater warrior than Rafael:huh:

That was entertaining! I missed some of the 3rd and 4th, so I may watch the rerun.

Yes. Can you imagine Nadal playing like that at 35? I can't personally. Not the way he plays on grass at 28.

^ Obviously Nadal's a far better player, duh ;) Just props to Stepanek playing like that at 35 is all I'm saying.

There aren't many guys still on tour playing at the level he displays at his age. He's a true inspiration. Ok other older guys like Michael Russell still got almost as far but he wasn't playing Djokovic in his prime.

Looking like a 2nd successive 5 setter for Tsonga. He's having a tough time out there.

Also looks like Stakhovsky may well reach the 2nd week for the first time as he plays Chardy next and Chardy won a tough 5 set match that took 4 hours 15 mins. I'd say Stakhovsky has that in the bag personally. I read comments on tennis.com that Dolgopolov served 43 aces! Impressive!

murray is playing Blaz Rola.

don't like the sound of that name, sounds like the sort of name that might sneak an upset. sounds like he wants to be playing murray in sunglasses and smoking a cigar 'Orson Welles style' during change overs.

I was giving the cigar to the wrong bloke, andy had the cigars out and playing from a comfy chair in a 6-1, 6-1, 6-0 destruction of blaz rola.

blaz rola ?...more like blaz rollova.

Gotta start somewhere and I see his career ATP match record is 5-5 and it's only his 2nd slam appearance. His ranking is now 92 though so he's going in the right direction and reaching the 2nd round of Wimbledon and the AO is better than thousands of players out there will ever do.
