As I expected, Goffin looks to have no problems with Brody: 7-6, 5-1 at the moment

Wow. Milos starts like gangusters, breaking Tommy Haas twice in a row, with a string of ROS winners

4-0 quickly

So disappointed for Nishikori. The injury bug bites him once again. I hope that he will win a Slam one day but I'm starting to wonder if that window is slowly starting to close on him. Needs to do it soon.

Goffin - Brody 7-6, 6-1, 6-1.

Wasn't even close, except the first set.

Wasn't expecting Broady to win, but he gave Goffin fits in the first set. Good for him.

Novak, after dumping his first service game in the first set is looking good out there. His approaches to the net have been excellent.

Is that off the shaky old radar gun or the more current and accurate one? Back in my day, the top servers supposedly hit 148 mph; Roscoe Tanner and Colin Dibley! Tanner also rang up a couple over 150 against Borg in their 5 set contest back in '79; 153! It wasn't a real science back then! :nono  :dodgy: I woke to hear Kei out again! Why bother if you're that fragile? A smarter person would be more aggressive and close out some of those easy points at the net instead of backing up again and again having to hit multiple winners! Idiot! :cover

^I dunno Fiero. Tanner could bring some bang to the table. He would have to have caught it sweet with those wooden racquets though!

I'm sure he played with a wood racket at some time, but he had his own aluminum stick made with an endorsement by then! It was rather stiff for the time; most rackets other than wood to give it some flex and residual power that you couldn't get with wood! When I played with wood, indoor tennis gave you a better feel and I could really crank up my serve well over 100 mph with a very small sweet spot! :dodgy:

Tommy plays a solid TB, making no mistakes and takes the 3rd set in a TB
