0-30 for Darcis

15-40. Rafa looks aggravated. What's his specific problem today?

I think Nadal prefers to be aggravated. He likes to struggle his way through. He said something at the French like "I have learned to embrace suffering during my career."

Why on earth is he running around that backhand?

3 set points Darcis.

1 left.

6-6

7-6 Darcis.

7-7. This is exciting!

8-7 Nadal.

Second set Darcis.

So, who thinks Nadal is actually going to get upset?

I think he might. It's like deja vu from last year all over again.

This would be too good to be true. Is the guy playing out of his mind or does Rafa just stink on fast low bouncing grass? I bet a mixture of both

So Nadal has come back twice from 2 sets behind at Wimbledon: 2006 and 2007. I mean this match is really close, it's not like Darcis is showing him around or something. He has 12 points more.

I still think Nadal's takes this but out of every tournament, first week of Wimby is pretty much the only week he manages to look ordinary...

Because he is ordinary on this stuff... garbage in fact, makes it all the more sad he has won 2 Wimbledons.

Exactly, Darcis is playing out of his mind, but Nadal is making a LOT of UE.

Your words would make more sense if you were rooting for Darcis and Nadal was leading right now.

Not following you. How would it make more sense if Nadal was leading right now? What has rooting for Darcis have to do with that?

Nadal is off to a great start! Oh wait, that is Federer talking. :D

Can Nadal actually lose this match? I just can't believe it.

Why not? Isn't that clear that he is not the same player on grass like on clay?

Ah, yeah, that was a little vague. To clarify: usually the underdog is coming from the mindset of "I'm playing well. I'm not too far behind, he's only won 12 points more." Though here Nadal is the favorite, so saying that "it's not like Darcis is showing him around" is a little ironic, because typically a comment like that would come from the underdog side. Then again, I think Nadal likes being the underdog. He thrives on that mindset.
