I expected Novak to win this and also the bookies were not buying into this either.
The reason is upsets tend not to happen when it is an "expected" upset as the player will be careful as well. Upsets have better chances of happening when it is not so much "predicted".

Other than his DC wins over the US, I have no idea who and how this guy plays! Well I hope he feels better if that's the case! Commentators had convinced me he was the next great player after Krygios! I expected him to last a couple rounds and potentially get to Nole, but it wasn't even close! Mayer's no slouch and seeded #24! :angel: :dodgy: - Supposedly he was to play doubles with Hewitt; we'll see if that's still on!
