At this point there is absolutely no reason to think Nole will have an easy time with Stan. The last 5 meetings at slams have featured 4 five setters and the recent FO final that was dominated by Stan. It would be a tough match, I would favor Nole but we shouldn't be THAT surprised if Stan wins.

Getting a headache trying to find out has Nole acquired another record; qualifying for WTF Jun 2 with 2 major finals, 1 GS win, and 4 Masters so far? :nono  :dodgy: - Since he doesn't have time to surpass Roger and Nadal in so many other ways and results, he seems to have a potential lock on all RECORDS dealing with Masters' events and WTF! Anybody? :puzzled :nono

Sometimes I think that this is the glory days of the Masters 1000 events. Sure the ATP has set it up where there is more riding on these events and the top guys have to make them a priority, but will we still be talking about Masters records in 2035? The set up and system of the ATP always evolved and changed and it would be silly to think that anything besides the Grand Slams would not change over the course of time. I haven't fully woken up yet so sounds rambly but does anyone else ever think that? I remember all those big events back in the 70s and 80s and things sure have changed. The Masters will probably change too. Will that take away the luster of Novak's title as Lord of the Masters?

He has to win 2 more to equal the Lord of Masters, but hey, I can't even say a decent prediction as in a number. He might as well end up with 35-40 of those. You should be ashamed of yourself, and I am looking at you Bull.

Yeah, I spoke with the thinking that he will eventually end up with the record. Seems like a foregone conclusion right now.

Here is a must see video of a shot in the match between Brown and Troiki. Bown hits a service return drop shot. Morevoer the ball just crosses the net and lands on Troiki's side and after bouncing it goes back to Brown's side due to the spin making it literally impossible for Troiki to hit the ball. The video is available in Wimbledon's official site.

He's deliberately tanking the second set. Can't stand this guy. Hope Gasquet can hold on and just get him out of here this time.

Lol! The British media never cease to amuse me. Apparently they were interviewing Seppi before his match against Murray, and they asked him if beating Murray would be the biggest win of his career. He answered "No". And when they pushed him on it, he said beating Federer at the AO was his biggest win, and he capped it off by adding.. "By far" :laydownlaughing

What on earth are those guys smoking??

who saw that 2nd set of nick k..and that press conf..nick lied. he deffo tanked one of gasgits service games, when he was also booed.

richaaaard played well though..seemed to be making more of an effort to play up the court and not end up 17miles behind the baseline.

qf for gasquet..good work sir. nick needs to stop being a dork.

This year Nick had reversal of fortune with his opponents. He defeated a guy to whom he lost last year and lost to a guy whom he defeated last year.

Vasek Pospisil has never been beyond R3 in any slams until now, he gets into a QF for the first time after a couple of 5 setters.
It is also the first QF at Wimbledon for Gilles Simon here on grass and second overall of his career, he was a QF at AO in 2009.

Haha Ljubicic is wearing the sleeve Raonic uses on his right arm. Check it out Bjiorkman / Johansson - Ivanisevic / Ljubicic (Court 1)
