That's the game of Rafa, Nole, & Andy in his day; keep a player out there until they drop! Nothing new! They play lockdown tennis!

Nah,
Djokovic breaks a lot so his matches are easier.

...then has "walkabouts" dropping serve inexplicably! He's always been the most vulnerable of the "Big 3" dropping major finals to Wawrinka & Murray! That's never happened to Fedal even though a handful of loses are on the record in Masters and smaller events!

He will pass Fedal within 3 years.

It has to be now; just like winning that Wimbledon and USO last year, he has to do it as soon as possible! This next crop will take over sooner or later! It would be nice for Nole to scratch a major or 2 late like Roger! He's on track to get the job done by 2022! :yesyes:

Don’t rule out Roger and Rafa yet. Rafa will be ready to lose a limb to win RG this year this year. You know how Rafa is when he wants to win something. Roger can still sneak a couple of slams before he is done. Remember he is Roger.

But an upset has to occur sooner or later! I feel he's vulnerable & someone's going to get him before the quarters; gotta happen! :banghead:

Nadal, Yes. He won't take the AO-final trashing well. He is even more of a favorite for RG 2019 now. If he can make the final of AO, he has enough oomph left for 'la douzaine'.

As to Roger, I just don't see how he can sneak one, let alone two, slam. The landscape has changed yet again. He blew last year's SW19. He blew AO this year. He had a good shot at both. He noted that the conditions at this year's AO are already much slower/heavier/bouncier/whatever than last year. Bautista Agut makes his first slam Quarters after taking out Cilic. Poulle makes his first slam SF after taking out Coric and Raonic? Pouille never made it past the first round at AO. So Roger is a contender at only SW19 going forward. He has to make it to SF without choking, not easy anymore. He then has to go through one or both of ND/RN.

Rafa will be at least a slight favorite over Djokovic for RG, based on the AO result. Djokovic can be vulnerable at RG and may not even reach the final. However, if he reaches the final, all bets are off.

If Rafa can raise his level physically, then he is almost sure to win. Djokovic has been matching him physically since 2011 and the winner on clay depends on who executes better on the day.

I don't understand what you are saying here? Already passed Fed? By what measure?

Nole is racking up the accomplishments & records so it can be anything within the next year or 2; YEC #1's, H2H, & seasonal category!

You're so happy with this win that you're forgetting to use enough emoticons.

Just enough to finish the line really! I didn't think I could be more thrilled than Nole sneaking those 2 majors out of nowhere last season! This start by annihilating Nadal really puts me on a cloud updating his blog! I can re-watch clips of the match over & over! "Thanks TCC!"

I see, you were asking about GS. I meant about passing for GOATnes. I dont know for GS, while i belive after retiring all of three Rafa and Novak will pass for GOAT implementing all of that statistics H-H, time interval, GS, Masters, ATP Fianls... and much more.
