Pissed to hear Serena is playing doubles. Hope her doubles play falls on her singles day, so she has a day of rest. Doesn't need to be getting her serving arm fatigued and not making a high percentage of first serves.

She played doubles and singles at Wimbledon and the Olympics last year, she had no issues with serve fatigue at either of those events, or the USO.

Never heard of that before regarding Serena.

Sometimes her doubles play helps her singles play, especially when she has to be at net. I think the extra play on clay will only help her game, providing she does not get hurt.
