When hell freezes over. You are the worst of what other fans think of Nadal fans. Rafa doesn't need your ridiculous and outrageous claims on his behalf. He is plenty great enough. Fed fans just wait for Nadal fans to make it stupid. And there you do an amazing job.

It’s still not even 1% of what Federer and Djokovic fans have done to Nadal and his fans throughout the years with their relentless insults and attacks. Believe me I’m actually very nice with my trolling compared to how Fed fans have called Nadal “cunt”, “cheater”, “ped”, etc. for years. But here you are crying about me for saying stuff like “goatdal” and how “i was right that he’s back at #1, please press the like button to congratulate me”. Geez I’m so mean.

There aren't really even that many Djokovic fans around here, and they aren't horrible in any way, so that's just incorrect. You are correct that some Federer fans have been vile, and in that I have supported you. Some folks would slander Nadal all over the place, and it's worth the effort to keep them a bit honest. I have no problem if you want to say "goatdal," but I have a problem with your making thing up, vis-a-vis either Nadal or other players. Personally, I think Nadal could do without your biased and blinkered cheerleading. But you do you. Just don't ask for support when you're being biased beyond belief and making Nadal look bad. You make it look like Nadal needs buffing up by a troll. Personally, I think he stands on his own record and merit.

I was talking about other forums too not only here... Nadal fans used to be banned by Federer fans moderators just because they dared to defend him... Federer fans have been disrespectful and mean to Nadal and his fans ever since day one (and we know why)… So a little taste of their own medicine now that Nadal is about to pass Federer is more than fair.

Anyways, you need to lighten up a little bit and not take life too seriously... have a nice day... :smooch:

This is not other forums. It's a fair one, a pretty intimate one, with a small group of people who know each other a long time. No need to treat it like other places. That's why we're here. You suggest I lighten up, and I would suggest that you do. You bring grudges from other forums, by your own admission. Why not just read what is written, and try responding as yourself, not an internet partizan. Give it a week. You might be surprised.

Oh I've read plenty on this forum to know that what I do is still a 100 times nicer than some Federer fans. Maybe you should focus a little more on them.

I do focus on them and mostly ignore you. So now, back to ignoring you.

With threads like Which has been greater at the US Open: Nadal's overachieving or Djokovic's/Federer's underachieving? or Poll: which shot was an easier/worse/more inexcusable miss by Federer against Nadal? or Who had the worse 5th set collapse in terms of converting straightforward breakpoint opportunities? all meant to downgrade Nadal with relentless disrespectful posts inside, and you expect me to not fight back a little bit. You need to focus on the real problem. If such threads full of daily posts disrespecting Nadal didn't exist, I wouldn't need to turn the tables sometimes on them. Have a nice day.

I totally agree with you that there is a war on Nadal on the forums. I've said so. You fight your way and I'll fight mine. Have a nice night.

Medvedev answered himself the question that this thread asked. Even if he does not extend this particular run of results till the point he reaches #1, he has shown something that only the big 3 have shown in the last 15 years: consistency at a top level. I think not even Murray ever managed a run like that (yes, I know that winning a major is more important than six straight finals, but the point here is the consistency).

Actually, if he wins Paris and/or (specially) the YEC, he will enter 2020 with a good chance of reaching #1 at some point between RG and W.

Still rooting for Thiem -- even if folks in this board only notice the guy when he loses, but Medvedev has his both hands on it right now.

No one knows who's going to break from the pack and distinguish themselves. I don't think anyone particularly saw Medvedev coming. I still think Thiem has more to say for himself. Zverev as well. Not to mention the younger ones.

Also you have players like Kyrgios who can knock out anyone next year at the AO in the 4th round including Medvedev. Not sure if he can keep it together for 2 weeks to win a slam, but who knows. But right now the money is on Medvedev to become one of the next ATG players. The results he's had in the past few months are no fluke, he's the real deal.

I'd say as of now that Medvedev, Thiem, Zverev and Tsitsipas can all win a slam in the next couple of years, with Medvedev by far the leader of the pack. They're definitely all knocking on the door but so far Nadal and Djokovic have been hard to stop in best out of 5. The battle for the top prizes will probably be a mixture of Nadal/Djokovic vs Medvedev/Thiem/Zverev/Tsitsipas in 2020/2021.

your way is not good at all too much of a care bear] Federer fans go hard so that nadal fans do is go hard back at them its just how it is in fourms, nadalfan2013 is a great poster does a great job at defending nadal so do you moxie but you think Federer fans can be talked to which is wrong their always going to see things in a Federer way. the other nadal poster knows this so he does not try to be a care bear and just says whatever he wants, does not care that other posters think which is awesome.

in the Grandslam best of five format , the top 30 pros all know in an encounter vs Kyrigios all you have to do is weather his storm, extend the match as long as possible. Either Nick's happy meds( I am convinced that dude is Bipolar ) or his fitness will eventually wear him down. Nick will NEVER win a major as long as Roger, Rafa and Novak are on the tour.. Another 3 years and all the next Generation players will raise their levels and Nick will be reduced to an early round sideshow that a lot of fans will clamor to see but knowing he will not be a champion.

Kyrgios hasn't been past the 4th round 17 majors in a row and you think the big 3 are his problem?

Newsflash, he literally is an early round sideshow now. What type of results do you actually think he's achieving?

Well done! I knew his name came up here and there, but I didn't remember anyone actually championing him.

Thx. I was not the only one in the discussion. @herios had a similar opinion. Actually if I am not mistaken we called attention to him as early as AO. He was my dangerous floater, or dark horse. Or dangerous horse. Surely not a dark floater.

Probably @El Dude was on the conversation as well. I am positive that he said that data showed that Medvedev would never reach six finals in a row. :)

No doubt Medvedev has had a great run...however

In fairness to Murray’s 2016, it should be pointed out Murray made 12 out of 13 finals, in the process winning 1 Major, reaching another Major final, winning Olympic Gold, winning ATP YE finals and winning 3 out of 5 Masters finals. In the process he won tournaments on grass, red clay, outdoor hard courts and indoor hard courts.
