More proof of how disconnected Broken is from black American culture, which he politically comes to the defense of. This is a common joke right now in urban social media memes in the USA and cornball Broken finds it immature.

A perfect example of a hypocritical white so-called "liberal." Bland, clueless, and disconnected all in one.

Oh please Mr. Caucasian Conservative Catholic, be the spokesperson for black American culture.

HAHAHAHA yes LeBron and JR Smith dominated together. That's like when Kobe and that Jabroni combined for 83 points. LeBron and Kyrie dominated together. JR Smith was just a role player.

You're such a fucking dumbass.....they went on a huge winning streak right after the trade, and then Irving was hurt for much of the playoffs. Cleveland had also struggled during the season against Atlanta (who was the #1 seed with the former Spurs coach Budenholzer implementing the Spurs system that had just owned LeBron in the 2014 playoffs), and who came to the rescue in game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals?

Remember this game shithead?

But speaking of which, let's talk about how JR dominated since...he certainly dominated the headlines in 2018... when you know, he literally didn't know what the score was.

Good one cornball! Keep it coming with your killer humor! Lol.

Yes, JR Smith in 2017 went downhill and was unrecognizable. All of his drinking and partying caught up with him. He put on 15 pounds at least and was terrible. Then it all came to a head in the 2018 Finals.

That does not change how terrific a player he was over a decade prior to that.

Right.....so being white and being Catholic inhibits someone from understanding black American culture even if they have been around it their entire life.

You are such a parochial little bigot when you are really exposed for it. Just a nasty little racist who knows next to nothing about big issues. Just repeats mainstream cliches and thinks he is really well-informed.

As I have said a million times, you know so much less about America than you think you do, and your lack of understanding of black American sports culture makes me wince at times. But don't worry. You're not alone. You're just like the whites in all-white Vermont who support Bernie Sanders. They don't relate to or understand blacks at all either. That's why Northeastern cities are such a mess. White leftists like yourself are totally incompetent in how you relate to black people. You're just dumb, dumb, and Dumb with a capital D.

Wait, pointing out the irony of a Caucasian republican conservative catholic lecturing others about understanding black culture makes me racist? The fuck?

Exactly my point.....dumbass. You brought up whiteness as a point against me because you are, politically speaking, very anti-white. But culturally you are as white as a piece of toast (which is very ironic). Either way, being white and Catholic does not at all inhibit one from understanding black American culture. It is entirely possible to be white and Catholic while understanding it - and it is far more likely than being some little nerdboy soccer fan in Lebanon who thinks Michael Jordan is super cool.

Btw, white Catholics have next to no responsibility for traditional American "racism" toward blacks and many of them have traditionally identified with the left in America because they have seen themselves as alienated in a broader Protestant society. But I wouldn't expect you to know that because you're too ignorant and poorly read.

Yes, some would say the best in the league...

Lol.....he had a Top 3 +/- in the NBA for multiple years in Denver, and if he didn't have a BrokenShitBoi-twin in George Karl as his coach restricting his playing time, he could have done a lot more damage and averaged far more points.

For what it's worth, at this point, why GT pisses off some people, from Irish Times:

https://www.irishtimes.com/life-and...2Y9wyJUqMAUoa29RKUUITzzNTluKU0SJXWgp3WPkqI9Ug
I don't like that article. I agree with the facts presented and even share some of the opinions therein but I don't like the sneering tone. Those "middle aged men" who are ridiculed for their opinion on the subject, will respond with more aggression and even rejection of obvious facts, in an effort to protect the integrity of their worldview. So, the article, in the end is a tool to polarise the "middle aged men" even more against the poor girl. An attitude that can only be described as stupid or even moronic. Don't they realise that in order to let your message be heard & understood you must not insult the listener? I, who can also be included in that group, by virtue of my sex & physical age, am also feeling insulted, even though I am fully on GT side. That's because the stupidity of their approach makes me cringe. Why everybody in this debate seems to make selfish/sarcastic remarks but no one tries to explain things objectively, without emotional loading? The title of the article should have been sth like "Why GT is not understood by certain people" and present the issue as the social game between the generations (as I presented it in my comments above) rather than as a ridicule of an older generation. Then the article would be somewhat acceptable and valuable. As such it could even unite certain people in their trying to understand the problem (and more importantly to seek solutions) rather than dividing them, as it does in its silly form.

Yes, that means he was better than Lebron.

What I said at the time, to be specific, is that JR Smith was the best offensive player in the NBA if allowed to play unhinged. If you ever had a single black American friend, you would know that this is hardly an outlandish view. But since you are a statistics-addled nerd this sounds absurd to you. JR Smith is probably the only player in NBA history who could win a 3-point contest and dunk contest in the same night; that is how skilled and physically talented he was.

LeBron has had obvious flaws and limitations, mostly to do with shooting, that have caused his numerous Finals failures. But who cares who was "better" in a totalistic sense? They were both great players, being better at some things than the other one. My point about JR Smith was that if allowed to play freely he was more explosive and game-changing offensively.

But that is above your head. I don't expect you to understand that. I have proper expectations for you.

Ah yes. JR Smith is the most talented player in the NBA and the key to knowing is to have a black friend.

I fully stand by my contentions that a) JR Smith was the most offensively explosive player in his twenties and b) you have zero understanding of black American sports culture. None. Zilch. Nada. I also stand by my contention that your psychological staleness is one of your main shortcomings in understanding sports, no matter how much you may curse at people to try to cover it up. You don't relate to the competitive mindset in the moment, which is why you fall back on tepid/fashionable statements to make it sound like you're only being reasonable.

Just like you were super-reasonable about Nadal being better than Djokovic on grass!

Blandness is a major shortcoming of yours when it comes to understanding athletics. And it is funny to see you arrogantly dismiss how out-of-touch you are with American black sports culture....it's like seeing some idiotic journalist from the Washington Post or BBC be smug from 2017-2018 about the Trump campaign colluding with Russia only to have pie in their face when the Mueller report came out. You simply do not know as much as you think you do about American sports or American society in general.

The demonstration in Montreal (at the end of UN summit):
https://www.nationalobserver.com/20...reta-motivates-massive-montreal-climate-march
was really massive. Their estimate 500k, out of Montreal population of 1.78m, means more than 28% of city population attended. That's an impressive number, maybe unheard of, in relative terms. Even relative to the entire population of Quebec (8.4m, assuming people from the entire territory could've travelled in, which is unrealistic), you still get a hefty 6%.

Ah yes when you need to understand black culture to tell that the second best basketball player of all time is better than JR Smith and that Steph Curry is better than Randy Foye.

No point in discussing basketball with someone who clearly does not understand it.....you only think in terms of official status, socially conventional attitudes, and clichés - which is quite ironic in that you think you are some kind of rebel against the system. You don't recognize how much offensive systems play into the success of particular players.

Then you go ahead and state that LeBron is the "second best basketball player of all time" as if that is written in stone.....it's not. In many situations, such as playing San Antonio in the playoffs, Kobe for one was a better player because he actually had a mid-range game. LeBron is a great player but also has had clear flaws.

You managed to go a full post without bringing up “black American culture.”
