Maybe Trump doesn't have people "murdered," but definitely comparable in being evil & selfish POS who cares only about himself & his family! :)
I think you do Putin a disservice. I think there's a component of misguided patriotism with him. Trump is just a sociopath. It's all about him!

That could be any American politician then, including Bubba, Biden and Hillary. We need to have proportion when we think of these things. Americans tend to exaggerate their problems, comparing everyone they don’t like to Hitler and the Nazis. You're still in the land of the free, relatively speaking, you’re still a comfortable, well fed people, but the far left are a much bigger danger to you than Trump…

lol! He's neither as competent or as disciplined. Frankly I don't think he has the courage either...
Well the only thing Putin has shown himself to be competent at is keeping himself in power - so you’re right there! :lulz1:

Putin having a double is old news too. Plenty of talk of Biden and Obama clones out there too along with Hilary Clinton. Anyway, check this out.

You need to live here to understand how wrong this is. You need to live here to grasp the enormity of the presence of Trump. You need to live here to have a proper feel for the level of violence his highly-armed followers are willing to engage in, within a country already saturated with guns and mass shootings. He wants to get rid of democracy and become a dictator. It’s not a coincidence that his idols are Putin, Xi, Mohammed bin Salman, Kim Jong Un, etc. If re-elected Trump will appoint cabinet members, heads of the armed forces (Trump complained to his chief-of-staff that he was disappointed his generals weren’t like Hitler’s), the Justice Department, judges, and others who will do his bidding, especially getting him out of all of these indictments. He will work like mad to whip his followers into such a froth they will be willing to do anything to keep him in power. People who will go along with this won’t realize the consequences of allowing certain maneuvers even once.

NATO? Done. Ukraine? Putin will be given carte Blanche to do whatever he wants. Taiwan? Xi will do a hostile takeover as soon as he wants.

Trump only showed a modicum of restraint because he was in his first term. Give him a second term, at which point he won’t have to worry about getting reelected, and he’ll be even more enabled to go nuts.

You know I’m not a fan of many things that the far Left (read: the new far Right) have been up to, but the existential threat posed by Trump is more dangerous. By far. Once he has been successfully eliminated from public office, then everything else can be addressed.

I know other Americans who will say very differently to this regarding Trump, though they won’t necessarily like him. And when it comes to political violence I notice that the left never criticise Antifa or BLM rioters. They don’t see them as a problem. But obviously they are. They wreaked havoc in your country with your presidential candidate Biden dismissing a question about Antifa by saying, they don’t exist, they’re only an idea.

As for my response to Fiero about American politicians who care only about themselves and their family, I think Biden and the Clintons fit the bill.

I’m no fan of Trump. I think your system is incapable of churning out great presidents at this stage. But that’s another topic. By the way, what did you mean by “The far Left (read: the new far Right)?”

That’s kinda Blofeld territory, something fabulous like a sixties Bond flick. Not impossible, I suppose. The article says that Russian TV removed the couple of seconds where Putin (or, was it ‘Putinesque?’) fumbles with the watch. That could also be removed because the Russian Tsar doesn’t like to appear feeble.

But here’s another article outlining how Prigozhin might still be alive. His name among the passenger list might be the most obvious giveaway, in that you don’t publicly advertise your presence on a plane when the world’s most renowned assassin is looking for you. You’d ensure that nobody knows you’ll take that flight.

But I don’t know, I wouldn’t be surprised either way:

Is Yevgeny Prigozhin really dead?

Precisely. You don't let people know where and when you're flying if you're a high profile person so he's not dead I reckon.

fook me.. ok I'm spooked! :astonished-face:

it occurs to me that the non-Brits here probably don't know who David Icke is. He was a BBC news presenter in the 80s, which at the time was as institutional a position as you can imagine. Then one day he went nuts. It was like he thought he was the 2nd coming of Jesus. He may actually have said that. I'll never forget the evening when he was interviewed on the Terry Wogan show. Think Johnny Carson. Everyone was talking about it. It was as much water cooler talk as the 'it was all a dream' switch back on Dallas :D

Anyway... that's the guy in the TikTok. It's a bit alarming when you see the clip, in that context and he calls the future quite well!

Forgot to add this...
