Did you see the Russell Brand and Dizzee stuff they're going to "educate" children with?

In fairness, even if it's not the stuff in the videos, which is inarticulate and brainless idiocracy in action, there's not much different - and loads much worse - in their professional work... :nono

No, I haven't to be honest. Never thought too highly of Russell Brand to bother looking and never heard of the other person you mentioned to begin with.

Yeah, that's just awful. The number of dead is hard to believe. Such a huge tragedy...

I see the prime minister - and his aide - are adding insult to injury. I beggars belief that a modern politician and leader of a huge state like Turkey could be so crass and ignorant at a time like this.

The timing, as you put it, couldn't have been worse, as far as potential casualties go... :nono

^ The people who run Turkey are... dangerous, which is a shame because it's such a beautiful country. Just recently, one of their top secrets got exposed... Chilling stuff.

In the latest election they got a solid %50 of the votes again. Democracy is the right to choose...does not guarantee anything beyond that. The country is so divided and and nobody listens to the other side any more. Sad really...

The Ukraine Presidental election is coming up soon. Of course, you get the feeling that, whoever wins, Russia will doubt its legitimacy. Conversely, in the event of a pro-Russian President being elected, the West will also doubt its legitimacy.

I have a feeling a lot of turmoil will stem from the result.

Russia are closer in Donetsk too. I had to laugh at their whining about Prince Charles. Poor diddums thought invading a country was alright, but being called names on it is shocking.

I don't know how the election will go, but it won't matter too much given what's in store for the Ukrainians... :nono

Anybody hear about Elliot Rodger? He murdered seven people in a drive-by shooting in California, I believe. He left a confession video. It's chilling to say the least...

He also, apparently, left a 148 page manifesto. More of that here: http://tinyurl.com/klc8sav

Latest rumours are floating around that Elliot is believed to be the son of Hollywood director Peter Rodger (assistant director of The Hunger Games), and stepson of Soumaya Akaaboune (from the cast of TV show 'Les Vraies Housewives').

He was obviously from a very wealthy family and probably had everything given to him. Stunning, though, and very tragic for the victims. :(

^ I'm getting really tired of this sick crap happening in the gun-loving USA.

Next the NRA will decide to hold their next meeting in that city.

Apparently, the guys parents tipped the police well in advance of the actual event that
their son may do something crazy.

The NRA is the reason why I hate political lobby groups.

If they were that concerned, they should have had him hospitalized. The police were never going to do anything based on the parents' speculation.
