FAA just lost in 3rd set TB to Sandgren. That's a disappointment.

Watching match between Murray and Zverev,as well as watching women's matches,Murray moving well to me
I'm watching, too, at least in between the cracks. Tight contest. And I just watched Murray blister a return for the first break of the 3rd.

Struff beat Shapo, and RBA beat Gasquet. In a recent interview, Murray said RBA was the most under-appreciated player in the top 20. Some mess from Murray, and Zverev will serve for the match.

Curling pass from Andy to get him MP. And he wins with a shot up the line. Great finish by Murray, but Sasha still has the service issues. Had to watch, TBH.

Grigor drops the first set to Fucsovic, 5-7. He was so sick from Covid that he considers even being here in NYC a win.

Surprised that both FAA and Shapovalov lost, but I had feeling that Murray could take out Zverev. I hope Andy continues his run here, Raonic should be beatable considering Murray's return is one of the best ever.

He was pressing Zever's serve,he has always been a good returner and also has good anticipation skills.
He wasn't just pressing it. He was moving around to the point of gamesmanship. But no excuse for Zverev not having more control over his serve.

I was sorry to see both of those go out, but I wanted to second Margaret's greeting...good to see you back!

I only noticed it did that a few times,he is not the first player to do so :)

It's not on my TV, but Thiem is in some serious trouble v. Krajinovic. I'm not surprised if it was a difficult match, but Thiem looked like he was ready to come into this USOpen swing as the really in-form player.

Dimitrov won the 2nd set v. Fucsovic. Berankis is making a good show of it v.Djokovic, but this one has the look of a competitive first set to be won by Novak, and then a blow out 2nd and done.
