I actually like the way he won this tournament. His comebacks in last 2 matches are impressive, showing not give up atitude despite neck and stomach issues. This is why people call him a mental giant. When he is like this with eyes on the prize it's very hard to stop him. Hopefully no injury during US Open and another slam in a pocket.
Is he really a mental giant? He wandered for 2 years in the wilderness. He spends a lot of time complaining about physical issues, and scheduling issues and then he's fine enough to win. Is he suffering, or playing possum? What's with all the complaining, if he's fit enough to win? Maybe it's talent, but maybe there's a little gamesmanship in there. Hmm?

Svaki put mi utira smi u facu kad vidin našeg Splićana kako gleda i sidi na katrigi. Taj je sa naše gore list:face-with-tears-of-joy:.
Slavenska udruga, štima u potpunosti.

Hahah, I enjoy to see Goran in Novak's camp. This combination seems to be working pretty good. They are having a lot of laugh according to what they both say. Novak said during wining ceremony that Goran is a great coach, but terrible Uno player Also Vajda and other guys they all seem like one big family.

Hehe živa istina. Liči više na feštiranje nego crnčenje. Vajda ko slaven nije furešti, odlično se uklapa.
Guštaju, i neka.

Thank you! Some have tried to undermine his toughness, making stupid, snide comments, but we know it's all deflection! At least Nole showed up to play while a certain clay court specialist is nowhere to be found! The hypocrisy is mind-numbing as the guy's made a career of coming and going from the tour when he feels like it! :exploding-head:

Not only undermine his toughness, everything.
If the result is what we see now, the arrogant “superior civilised world” should continue this. It makes him just stronger!
I hope he breaks every fucking record to shut the ***** up forever.

I know your not a fan of Rafa, which is really showing in your comments? Rafa like other players decided not to play in the US,because of the high cases of Coronavirus and the travel issues which is understandable in this pandemic,There is no Hypocrisy.,or coming or going when there is a global pandemic.
Go to page 22 on the "Speculation on the Men's Calender for the Next Foreseeable Future blog and you can read his explanation of not playing at this year's USO.

I certainly admire Djokovic but I object to the attacks on Rafa.

This COVID scenario makes his opting not to come to the USO reasonable and understandable. I see no hypocrisy here.

He seems often on death's door, and then wins the match and now is in the finals. Is it the scheduling? Or that his neck hurts? Or that he's got a stomach ache, because he was complaining of that, too. If he wins this tournament, some people are going to think there was a lot of protesting too much. And if he doesn't, he's got his excuses all in line.

Absolutely amazing. Just as with politics, Moxie can't help being a hypocrite. No fan base has made more "our player was hurt, our player wasn't 100%" excuses than Nadal's fans. You are talking about a guy who took medical time outs at clearly opportune moments for years, such as the one in Hamburg in the 2008 final.

And aren't you the same person who always blamed the drubbing Delpo gave to Nadal in 2009 at the US Open on Nadal not being 100%, despite the fact that he only lost 2 sets en route to the semis?

Perhaps you are just very upset with Djokovic for winning Cincinnati and continuing to win beyond that despite contracting the Wuhan Nursing Home Virus (WNHV). It goes against your narratives in more ways than one.
